The national week of action to shut down ICE's surveillance nerve center is HERE! We'll be protesting everyday this week to call attention to and shut down ICE'S infrastructure in Vermont that enables the deportation machine to devastate communities across the country. Join us this week in Williston, Vermont, or take action wherever you are in solidarity!

The Vermont 5 are facing federal charges for protesting ICE'S surveillance nerve center in Vermont. Despite the government's attempts to repress the growing movement to Abolish ICE, we remain undeterred and will keep protesting the horrific violence ICE is inflicting across the country. Join us in court this Thursday in solidarity with the Vermont 5 and show that state repression will not stop us from protesting ICE!

It turns out that ICE is everywhere. And it so happens that the center for most of their surveillance activities nationally is in my home state of Vermont.

In solidarity with activists all over the country, I've created Melt ICE.

It’s a tribute to the Vermont 5, who protested non-violently at the national ICE surveillance center.

We MUST ABOLISH ICE and stop the masked ICE thugs. by @shutdown.icevt

Just a few of the chalk messages left after the week of action #shutdownice by @shutdown.icevt

✊ Last week, Vermont SHUT DOWN ICE!

All week, hundreds of community members joined protests, meetings, sit-ins, vigils, and more. On Monday, @project_abolition led a car caravan outside the Women’s Prison in South Burlington. On Wednesday, community members protested three years of Israel and the US’s genocide in Palestine outside of ICE’s Surveillance Center in Williston. On Friday, we marked the end of the week of action by blocking the street in front of ICE’s Snitch Center with a Block Party!

Thanks to our efforts, ICE’s office at 188 Harvest Lane was CLOSED all week! ICE and the whole Trump administration are SCARED of a mass movement. This week may be over, but the people have the power to SHUT ICE DOWN!

We often hear: "Why are all those anti-ICE protestors wearing kuffiyehs?"

Here's why the Vermont People's Arms Embargo not only appreciates the @shutdown.icevt Week of Action for hosting our teach-in this week, but lifts up demands all year for ICE to get off our streets and out of our cities. by @shutdown.icevt

UPDATE: Tree sitter has come down out of their own volition. Continue to support the struggle in Lochiel by calling BP and demanding an end to the destruction of the Grandmother Trees.
Call BP Public Affairs Office immediately to demand they provide water and food to our brave tree sitter who has endured 56hr without water in the desert heat. 12hr ago, BP stole the tree sitters' last provisions, destroyed their platform, and damaged their lifeline rope - a sure death sentence unless they intervene and provide water asap. An excessively militarized BP and the illegal border wall erected yesterday cuts off the tree sitter from all ground support - BP is now the only agency who has the ability to provide life-saving aid. script:
I’m calling to demand you stop the torturous neglect of the person in the tree in La Noria. Last night, 10/8, you cut off her platform, you cut off their life saving rope, you cut them off from all resources. They will die, and we will make sure the world knows you are to blame. We demand you intervene now and bring them water and food. by @shutdown.icevt

In renting to ICE, J. Graham Goldsmith is complicit in the targeting and abduction of our neighbors. ICE out of White Cap! ICE out of Williston! ICE out of Vermont! ICE out of everywhere!
