I’m at a vulnerable place in my career right now. The kind of vulnerable where you have to choose, every single day, to believe in the version of yourself that only exists in your dreams even when the proof hasn’t caught up yet. This song is that choice, put into sound. I poured my whole heart into this one. There were moments recording it where the tears just came not sad tears, but the kind that come from somewhere deep and honest, somewhere I don’t usually let people see. This one’s for my not-so-little brother @officialsamuelkush 🫶 he’s a Big fan of @temsbaby , this one’s for you too, bro. If you feel even a fraction of what I felt making this... then it did its job. 🎶🤍 On the sound: 🎷 Artiste - @iammatt_sax 🥁 Drums — @the_gideon_ay 🎸 Bass — @gideoneaglebass 🎹 Keys — @theekr_ko 🎸 Guitar — @johnnie_mofiyinfoluwa 🎧 Playback — @tee_oluwatosin Behind the scenes: 🎙 Recording Engineer — @1molee 🎚 Mixing & Mastering — @tee_oluwatosin 🎬 Video Editor — @johnnie_mofiyinfoluwa 📍 Recorded at — @thesoundhook 👕Stylists - @rezienclothe FULL VIDEO ON MY YOUTUBE PAGE 🫶🏾 #iammatt_sax #meandyou❤️ #musician by @matthewmarzu
