Four years ago I was introduced to @shywatters and hired her to do my wedding hair on the fourth. Four years later as the universe saw fit.. my team and I planned Shy & Ted’s wedding on 4/4/24. The powers of the universe and manifestation surpasses anything you can ever fathom. One of my favorite parts of their wedding was a speech given by a dear friend. During this speech the friend described how Ted manifested marrying Shy. From the day they met, Ted professed to the universe that Shy would be his wife. Believe in what you say and the universe will bring it back tenfold.

Birthdays are meant to be celebrated and truly appreciated. Every year is a blessing and another opportunity to experience all that life has to offer. God has truly, truly been good to me, and I can’t say enough how grateful I am for my life.

The last four years have been incredibly full, full of blessings, growth, change, responsibility, and so many moments that required more of me. Not in a way that I would ever take for granted, but in a way that has made me realize just how much life can hold at once. There have been beautiful moments, stretching moments, and seasons that have challenged me to grow in ways I didn’t always expect.

This birthday, I wanted nothing more than to relax, be present, and simply enjoy. I wanted to give myself a moment to take it all in and really appreciate where I am, who I’m becoming, and everything God has carried me through.

Thank you, God, for the phenomenal family and friends you’ve placed in my life. I love each of you for every way you pour into me. This journey would not be the same without you.

As I continue to grow as a woman, wife, mother, sister, friend, and in all the other roles I carry, I pray that God continues to guide me, allows me to be gentle with myself, and helps me walk fully in the calling on my life.

Here’s to many more years of fulfilling and finding my purpose… while still being a fine azz momma 🤪 by @shywatters

One thing that can never be questioned is this: Shy Watters Hair Studio is committed to our clients.

To us, hair care is a relationship — and like any meaningful relationship, it requires communication, trust, accountability, dedication, and care from both sides.

When clients join the Shy Watters Hair Studio family, we want them to understand that this is a journey. We encourage questions, we welcome communication, and we believe our clients should feel supported every step of the way. But we also ask that they trust our professional expertise, our assessments, and the information we share to help them reach their hair goals.

Hair is deeply personal. Whether you wear it short, natural, relaxed, locked, extended, colored, or shaved — it is self-expression. It speaks to who we are, where we are, and how we choose to show up in the world.

That is why it means so much to be trusted with the hair journeys of so many women and clients over the years. We do not take that lightly.

We are especially grateful for clients like @sharitanicole , who has always been committed to caring for her hair, trusting the process, and allowing us to help her maintain styles that align with her lifestyle, image, and healthy hair goals.

Thank you for your kind words, your trust, and your continued support. We look forward to continuing to impact and care for many more clients for years to come.

If you’ve had a great experience with us, we’d love for you to leave us a Google review.

YES, I STILL DO HAIR. ✂️

A lot of you already know, but I still get DMs asking… and oh yes, the girl can still get busy with the shears.

I’m loving this “Bixie” cut that girls have officially labeled it . Gave my girl @aleeciav tons of texture, shape, and movement — and she is wearing it oh so well.

Soft, edgy, effortless… exactly how we like it.

One of our biggest passions here at Shy Watters Hair Studio, beyond creating beauty, is making a real impact within our community.

We are excited to officially enter our second year partnering with YouthWorks here in Baltimore City, and we are so grateful for the amazing feedback and experiences we’ve shared with past participants.

This program gives young adults the opportunity to gain real-world salon experience, work directly alongside professional stylists, learn day-to-day salon operations, and be exposed to the beauty industry in a hands-on environment.

If you are currently enrolled in YouthWorks and would love the opportunity to join the salon team this summer, please email us at info@swhairstudio.com. Participants do have the option to select preferred work sites, and we would love to connect with aspiring beauty professionals and motivated young adults looking to gain valuable work experience this summer.

If you have not yet applied for YouthWorks, do not wait. This is an amazing opportunity to earn income, build professional skills, and experience personal growth this summer.

We look forward to mentoring, encouraging, and helping develop the next generation through beauty, professionalism, and real-world experience. ✨ by @shywatters
