Not something I'd usually do, but I thought, why not step out of my comfort zone and experience something different?

Some collaborations are unexpected, but turn out to be extra special❤️

This one definitely wasn't on my list, but when Sushma approached me, how could I say no?

I've known Sushma for over 20 years now. My first eyebrow appointments, waxing sessions, face clean-ups and even my wedding mehendi were all part of her little world at her parlour in Ponda. So, being her muse for this look was truly special.

Now, here's a little confession… I'm not someone who goes all out with makeup, so I was a little nervous about this whole makeover experience. The last time I sat in a makeup artist's chair for a full-fledged makeover was for my wedding, almost 19 years ago.But I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.

The entire look was curated by Sushma @karishma_beauty_parlour_ and I simply sat back, trusted her vision and enjoyed being her muse.❤️

A special mention to @asheetascreation for the beautiful flowers and decor, Ritu @mammas____doll___8076 for always being around and lending a helping hand ❤️

@sachinaikq for shooting and editing this so beautifully📽️📸

Hope you enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed being part of it.

A Beautiful Blend of Tradition & Elegance ✨

Some colour combinations are simply timeless ❤️

The richness of this vibrant magenta saree, adorned with delicate golden motifs, paired with a deep Teal Green blouse, creates a beautiful contrast that feels festive, regal and so elegant.

The gold jewellery, nath and traditional bindi add just the right touch of desi charm. ❤️✨

A look that celebrates our roots, our traditions and the beauty of Indian ethnic wear. Perfect for welcoming the festive spirit of Dussehra🍃 🌸

Wishing everyone a very Happy Dussehra🙏✨

May this auspicious day bring happiness, prosperity and positivity into your lives.

Dussehra celebrates the victory of good over evil, reminding us that truth, courage and righteousness will always triumph over darkness.

May we all find the strength to overcome our inner battles and choose goodness, always. ❤️🙏

Navratri Day 9 🦚 ✨ | SareefitwithSid

For the last day of Navratri, I chose this beautiful Tussar silk saree from my MIL’s closet and styled it in two ways — one classic drape and the other with a little twist.

I absolutely love this colour combination, and once again, Mamma’s wardrobe came to my rescue.
I was wondering how I’d find the perfect outfit for today, and there it was, waiting in her closet.

If I remember correctly, she wore this saree a couple of times. And honestly, I did struggle a little with the draping today because the fabric is quite stiff. But I think I managed to do a fair job 😉

Two drapes, one beautiful saree, and what else a saree fan girl would want 🤗❤️

Tell me, which look do you prefer — the classic drape or the one with a twist?

The Ninth day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Goddess Durga, who symbolises wisdom, divine blessings, and the fulfilment of wishes.
Peacock green represents harmony, freshness, and prosperity in many Navratri colour traditions.

As we conclude these nine days of devotion, may Maa Durga bless us with strength, peace, happiness, and abundance. 🙏✨

NAVRATRI DAY 8💜✨ | SareefitwithSid

There’s something about Mul Cotton sarees that I absolutely love — their effortless elegance, beautiful drape and that understated charm that never goes out of style.

For Day 8, I went with this gorgeous royal purple Mul Cotton saree, paired with a traditional brocade blouse and gold jewellery for that timeless desi look. ✨

A classic hair bun adorned with purple orchids adds a beautiful traditional touch, while the contrasting green bangles bring in just the right pop of colour. 💚

The tiny golden accents on the saree, layered gold necklaces and statement earrings complete the look without taking away from its simplicity.

Nothing too elaborate, nothing over the top — just simple, traditional and elegant, with a little old-school charm.

Tell me, do you love the timeless charm of a traditional saree look as much as I do?

Purple is associated with the eighth day of Navratri, dedicated to Maa Mahagauri. She symbolises purity, serenity, compassion and peace. Her divine energy reminds us to let go of negativity and embrace inner calm, wisdom and renewal. 🙏🏻

NAVRATRI DAY 7🩶✨ | SareefitwithSid

Who said grey has to be boring? Not on my watch! 😉

For Day 7 of Navratri, I styled this gorgeous printed chiffon saree in two completely different ways — keeping it casual, sassy and full of personality.

💗 Team Pink: Paired the saree with a hot pink strapless peplum top for a fun, flirty Indo-Western look. The pop of pink against the grey makes this look playful, youthful and effortlessly chic.

🧡 Team Orange: Styled the same saree with an orange sleeveless blouse and a tan belt to cinch the waist, giving the drape a more structured, contemporary silhouette. A little more edgy, a little more defined, but equally fabulous.

Same saree, two different moods. Because why wear it one way when you can have fun experimenting? 😉

Now tell me, ladies… ARE YOU TEAM PINK 💗 OR TEAM ORANGE 🧡?

Grey is the colour for Day 7 of Navratri, dedicated to Maa Kalaratri. Grey symbolises balance, composure and resilience, reminding us to stay grounded and strong even when life gets challenging. Maa Kalaratri represents the courage to overcome fear and negativity. 🙏🏻
