SIERRA’S STORY: NCCU was my first stop… I was a walk-on who agreed to earn my scholarship and I ran up until I started to fall out of love with the sport. They knew me as Sierra Beasly and I couldn’t live with that it’s SIERRA BEASLEY…. By December I found myself wanting to find a new home… I wanted to be apart of a program that fit me and understood me as an athlete and an individual! Fayetteville state became my home for FOUR YEARS where I competed on scholarship maintaining year after year! I was coached by THE INEZ TURNER the best in the CIAA hands down! who wanted nothing more than to win! I told her my goals and that’s exactly how it happened! A 6x CIAA CHAMPION!💍 After graduating I found myself wanting to use my extra year and MANNN THIS was the finale! I made so many connections and friends at THE UNSINKABLE ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY!💛💙 to top it off a SIAC CHAMPIONSHIP! Couldn’t have been done without the girls and the coaching staff! So much hard work and long practices it DEFINITELY PAID OFF!I love y’all so much! Thank you Coach Rob for bringing me to Albany state! Now do it again because it’s been done already!🥳💍 Track has now came to an end for me and I can only smile at what I have accomplished! 7x CHAMPION!💍 CIAA x SIAC!😍 by @sierralaraee
