Mini Experiences at the Health + Wellness Fair 🌿 Sometimes wellness doesn't need an hour — it needs five minutes and the right hands (or the right conversation). This year we're adding Mini Experiences to the lineup: 💆 @foxtailpinedesign x Table Massage — a few minutes of real relief, no appointment needed 🪑 @won_nature x Chair Massage — quick, restorative, and perfect between other experiences ☕ @sightsierra x Mini Death Cafes — bite-sized, guided conversations about mortality, grief, and what matters most — held in a warm, open, no-agenda space These are the in-between moments of the fair — the ones that remind you to slow down, even for just a few minutes. ✨️ 🎟️️ Purchase an Experience Ticket via that Link in Bio for only $20.00 🌿 Entrance to the Wellness Market will be FREE on Saturday SEPT. 26th from 9am-4pm in the parking lot of @barsierramammoth 🌱 www.mammothlakeshealthandwellnessfair.com for more Health is Wealth Babesss!! 🐒 SAVE THE DATE🪴September 25th - 27th 2026🪴 📍 @outboundmammoth #mammothlakeshealthandwellnessfair2026 #mammothlakes #california #healthiswealth #wellnessfair by @sightsierra

Last February, I had the profound privilege of spending time with my teacher, Roshi Sanchi Reta. These are pages from my handwritten notes, words that planted the seed for what would eventually become the very first **Grief Hall** in Mammoth Lakes. A few of the teachings that have stayed with me: “Allow grief to do her perfect work.” “Life ungrieved = stress. Something is covered and wants to be known.” “Change. When we want it to be different than it is, it becomes distress and suffering.” “Recognize the ambiance of grief… We love and care deeply. If we don’t grieve, we are missing part of the caring heart.” “Remember. Speak with them. Those who are close to us continue to do something inside our own soul, especially difficult relationships.” Create an altar. “Memorialize those who have died. Honor your elders and ancestors. This reminds us of the continuation of life and allows grief to alchemize into wisdom and compassion.” “Taking the pause… People resist because it is distressing. Stopping is an art form.” One phrase in my notes reads: “Live Grief Gathering.” That simple idea has now become Grief Hall, a community space where we can pause, remember, listen, share stories, and allow grief to do what it naturally knows how to do. If you’ve experienced loss of a loved one, a relationship, a dream, a version of yourself, or simply the changes that come with being alive, you are warmly invited. Grief Hall 🗓️ Tuesday, July 7 🕠 5:30 to 7:30 PM 📍 Wind Drift Studios, Mammoth Lakes 💛 Donation based May we remember that grief is not something to fix, but something to honor. In doing so, it can become one of our greatest teachers. by @sightsierra
