🩷 ROTAX Max CHALLENGE INTERNATIONAL 🩷 🇨🇵 Le Mans, France 🇨🇵 We started it all with a French heatwave. The authorities actually banned outdoor activities between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM. ☀️ So, we practiced in the scorching heat early in the morning and late in the evening . 🌞🌛 Qualifying was scheduled for late Wednesday evening. 🌜 I made a god lap time! ⏱️… It was just a huge shame that I crossed the finish line one second too late for it to count ☹️. My actual qualifying time ended up being my warm-up lap. Thursday ☀️ Heat 1: Crashed the first lap 💥 smashed rim and bent rear axle but I fought on -> 11 overtakes, and a lovely DSQ 🏴 (disqualification) for being underweight. 🙁 Heat 2: 20 overtakes! Everything was going well until another DSQ 🏴 hit us 😖—because the mechanic had mounted the front wheels so they were rotating backwards. 🫩 Heat 3: 19 overtakes and great lap times. But a 5-second penalty for pushing. Friday ☀️ Heat 4: Good pace and 12 overtakes. But I hadn’t had enough penalties yet, so I got another 5-second penalty for pushing. Heat 5: 17 overtakes and no penalties! From P34 to P16 😛 Heat 6: 17 more overtakes, clean driving, and a move from P34 to P15. 😁 Conclusion for the weekend: We pulled off 96 overtakes over two days, and our lap times were good ⏱️ The results could have been better but just because the results wasn’t what I wanted doesn’t it mean I didn’t learn anything 💪🏼 ❤️ | @rs_competition @one1_girls 🚀 | @jvd_power_denmark @jvd_power 📸 | @hellofoto_motorsport_media Sponsors ❤️👇🏻 Liftra ⭐️ Au2parts CAC Entreprenør A/S Hera Weico Industries Trapez Montage A/S Aarestrup Værktøjs- og maskinfabrik A/S Støvring Autoophug Eurotechnic Slagter Stiller A/S Kongerslev Kalk A/S SB Stål Terndrup taxa og Turistbusser. Qualifying day ! ⏱️ Not the qualifying we were hoping for. I was in Group 1 of 4 and decided to go out with around 1 and a half minutes left in the 5-minute qualifying session. Unfortunately, we mistimed it by just a few seconds, so I only managed to complete my warm-up lap before the session ended. ☹️ It’s frustrating, but that’s racing. We learn, we move on, and we’ll come back stronger tomorrow. 💪🏼 ❤️ | @one1_girls @rs_competition 🚀 | @jvd_power @jvd_power_denmark 📸 | @hellofoto_motorsport_media Sponsors ❤️👇🏻 Au2parts CAC Entreprenør A/S Hera Weico Industries Trapez Montage A/S Aarestrup Værktøjs- og maskinfabrik A/S Støvring Autoophug Eurotechnic Slagter Stiller A/S Kongerslev Kalk A/S SB Stål Terndrup taxa og Turistbusser.
