What an incredible year !!! I could never have imagined succeeding in working consecutively and officially on characters created by Jack Kirby, André Franquin, Leiji Matsumoto, Philippe Druillet or Hayao Miyazaki !!!
No one before had managed to bring together such different and prestigious universes and I am extremely proud of it ! I am infinitely grateful to the people who made all of this possible. 🙏❤️
This busy year didn’t allow me to move forward as quickly as I would have liked on the book project that I wrote and illustrated but I promised myself to do everything to finally release it next year.
In the meantime, the talented @valenti_tonino came to film this cool video at the workshop, which will show you a little behind the scenes of the creation of what is to date my most personal project. Thank you all, have a very happy holiday !

Petit retour en photos sur cette édition 2023 de @japanexpo_fr tout juste terminée ! C’est également l’occasion de vous reparler un peu de Sigurd, mon projet de livre illustré et de la statuette qui l’accompagne. L’écriture et les illustrations sont finies, reste la mise en page définitive. Je suis en train de préparer avec des amis chers tout un tas de petites choses aussi qui devraient acompagner une chouette campagne participative qu’on lancera très bientôt. On s’en occupe quand on peut, mais très pris par la sculpture ce n’est pas toujours facile de dégager du temps. Je vois quand je le montre que ce projet vous plait déjà et merci à vous tous si nombreux qui êtes venus le découvrir sur mon stand !!! Comme annoncé à tous les nouveaux followers du compte @sigurd.official lors du salon, j’annoncerai en fin de semaine le gagnant du poster signé. Et pour qu’il n’y ait pas de jaloux je vais réflechir à tirer au sort un peu plus tard parmi tous les abonnés actuels, un gagnant pour lui offrir aussi quelque chose. Encore merci à vous tous et particulièrement à @anigetter pour l’accueil !!! Passez tous un bel été !!! 🤙✨❤️‍🔥

I finally found the time to draw the main characters from Sigurd's story, all in one image ! Let me introduce you to (from top to bottom and left to right):
- Hina and the cousins Helmer and Basilio
- Magda the librarian mouse and Bronzino (he's her associate and yes he's a worm), the magician fox
- Cosimo, Nora and her baby twins
- Rosco, Ambrogio, and of course Sigurd, our hero !

Her past is cloudy… When she is questioned about the reasons that lead her to flee Drizel, her native village, she doesn’t answer and seems embarassed... Hi everyone ! As you seem to have enjoyed my post dedicated to Rosco’s design research, here is some important information about him. Rosco is a strange creature. He looks like a bear, a bit like a dog too, but he walks upright and can talk. He has always lived alone in the forest of Lormevent. When he will meet Sigurd, he will immediately agree to help him in his quest. He is an endearing and very sweet character, but beware, his animal part sometimes suddenly takes over. This mysterious nature will lead to strange twists ! You will discover them by reading the book! Thanks for the interest !!! ☺️✨
