Introducing the Overture Earrings. Headed to the website this week. by @silver.sampo

Looking for a funky pair of artist-made silver earrings? Look no further! ✨ @greenlakegallery artist Jerin Brooks has the perfect pair for you.

Maine metalsmith Jerin Brooks founded Sampo Silver Studio, where he blends traditional goldsmithing and silversmithing techniques with modern sculptural design. He draws inspiration from topological forms and the natural curves of metal. Jerin is best known for his anticlastic-raised jewelry, striking pieces that show both technical mastery and artistic innovation.

Damn right I planish my castings. Porosity fears me. by @silver.sampo

It’s workshop season! My high hopes of teaching every month this year were squashed by production demand. For this season, I’ve scheduled monthly workshops farther in advance in order to pretend I won’t have as much production to do.

I’ve changed my workshop curriculum a bit to focus more on anticlastic raising but I’ve kept my class sizes smaller to be able to accommodate to what everyone is interested in learning. Classes can be purchased individually depending on your area of interest, but the first two classes of each week are by far the most important for total beginners. The link for class signup is in my bio.

If anyone has any ideas for other workshops they’d like to see me teach please feel free to comment below. I’m thinking of doing some shorter one-off classes throughout the next year. by @silver.sampo

Whoops. I made two left earrings. One of them needs to be reversed from a clockwise coil to a counterclockwise coil. by @silver.sampo
