“CONQUERING THE EVEREST WITHIN” - EPISODE 1 🎥

This weekend the @apex.officialuk team - @adam_clayts @simonhallbc @zaagsupplements commenced filming the first episode, of the up and coming documentary series - “CONQUERING THE EVEREST WITHIN” 🗻

Over the weekend we teamed up with @highperformancefoundation to embark on the APEX 2025 event route completing 1 day ascent and 1 night ascent.

We’ve had huge support from a number of fantastic brands to kick start the preparation for APEX 2025 which gave the team an opportunity to test and adjust ahead of time with the new kit and equipment, giving them the opportunity to push themselves to the limit. When the weather is not in our favour, this is exactly what we need.

To stay up to date with future releases, visit @apex.officialuk and click the link in our bio.

The first episode drops on the 27th July 2025 🗓️

This is only the beginning…

And at the grand old age of 37, I think I’ve finally worked out what life is all about.

Turns out it wasn’t the places, the achievements or any of the stuff I spent years chasing.

It’s this.

Having people you love.
Doing things that make you feel alive.
Laughing a lot.
And making as many memories as you can along the way.

Life is good.

I don’t want to teach him that life should be easy. I want to show him that it’s big. That there’s more to see. More to explore. More in us than we think. And that sometimes, the hard bits are the best bits. 🏔️ by @slice_shoots

SKIDDAW TIME TRIAL
Probably the closest thing we’ve got in the UK to the Vertical KM - Chamonix.

Up. Full gas. No stopping. Nowhere to hide.

Absolutely horrible. Can’t wait to do it again. 😂 by @slice_shoots

NOWHERE TO HIDE. 👀 🏔️

Last night was simple.

Skiddaw. Up and down. Against the clock.

No pacing yourself for tomorrow. No saving something for later. Just find the edge and hold the F on!

Safe to say… I found it. 😂

Properly in the hole. Retching. Legs gone. Absolutely hanging.

But fuck, there’s something good about testing yourself like that every now and then.

UTMB prep is getting interesting. 🤝 by @slice_shoots

Today was a super special day….. A big 1st for B and a lifelong memory for me. ⛰️
I spend a lot of time up here, slogging away on my personal goals, so today was a dream - getting to show little man my playground for the first time. 😂🤙🤜🤛 taken in Helvellyn, Lake District by @slice_shoots

Been a while since I’ve been back on a stage speaking, but it was great to be up there alongside some legends.

The last few days over at @ollie.ollerton Shift event - Full of inspiring people, great conversations, catching up with some old pals, making plenty of new ones, lots of laughs… and a crazy amount of coffees, saunas and ice baths. 🤜🤛 by @slice_shoots

Where do I even start...

Life lately has been a bit of a blur.

Right now, this feed should probably be full of my UTMB prep, long runs and big mountain days... (still happening in the shadows)

But you know what?

That can wait.

For now, here’s Bodhi meeting a couple of sheepies and having the time of his life. 😂🐑 by @slice_shoots

Not every day goes to plan, but every challenge teaches you something.

Hot. Testing. Brilliant company.

Onto the next. by @slice_shoots
