Neck pain.
Headaches.
Trouble sleeping.
Fatigue.

Not exactly symptoms people connect to a tongue-tie, right?

But when the tongue can’t move or rest where it should, it can affect breathing, posture, swallowing, and muscle tension throughout the body.

Myofunctional therapy focuses on retraining the tongue and oral muscles to function properly. It can help correct improper tongue posture and muscle patterns, and it’s also commonly used after tongue-tie treatment to help the tongue learn its new range of motion and prevent old habits from returning.

Sometimes the root cause of common issues is something you’d never expect. 👅 And we can help! Call us today!

From frustration to freedom ✨

Ailsa worked with our incredible hygienist, Sarah to address her tongue tie and begin myofunctional therapy — and the results have been life-changing. 💪

Tongue ties can impact breathing, sleep, posture, and overall wellness, but with the right care, healing is possible. 💙

We’re so proud to be part of her journey toward better function and a happier, healthier life! 🦷

My Hockey Date. by @simplycleanteeth

Today is #PostYourPurple in celebration of National Dental Hygiene month.
Purple is the color of dental hygiene, representing compassion, inspiration, and purpose.

I love serving as a patient advocate. Helping patients to understand the oral systemic link is life changing. The best way I can do that is to be part of American Dental Hygienists' Association.
