#ᴛʙᴛ to when @janicejnice wrote about my research and framework earlier this year.

Everyone knows a woman who’s doing well at work and seems to have it all together. But what we don’t see is the exhaustion, the mental fog, the insomnia, the breakdowns.

That’s who High-Functioning Survival Mode™ is for. And it’s why so many of us related to Keke Palmer’s TED talk. To see someone of her stature name something so many of us have been through felt like a deep exhale.

It’s why this piece @janicejnice wrote is so important, and why I’m honored to share more about my work, my framework, and my research.

Omg 🫣…so many new faces around here, so I wanted to properly introduce myself and get to know you too!

Here’s a glimpse into who I am, where I’ve been, what brought me here, and what I’m exploring these days.

Say hi in the comments and tell me one cool thing about yourself. I’m glad you’re here ✨

As a high achieving, high masking eldest daughter you may think you’re more dominant, but what if I told you exploring submission and kink may be a way to get out of the burnout loop of High-Functioning Survival Mode™?

Sovereignty coupled with Kink & BDSM
can teach you how to be back in your body, how to receive pleasure without having to work hard for it, and slowly rewire your nervous system to be comfortable with being instead of doing.

What happens when someone who has spent most of their life tying their identity to usefulness, performance, and digestibility begins centering their own pleasure as something they’re allowed to experience without earning it? by @simplysamrae

What if I told you that there was a connection between Kink, BDSM, and High-Functioning Survival Mode™?

And, what happens when someone who has spent most of their life tying their identity to usefulness, performance, and digestibility begins centering their own pleasure as something they’re allowed to experience without earning it?

I’ve been intentionally exploring this for a full year and have been sharing my musings. What do you think?

Since I’m getting closer to my challenge where I’ll be centering play, pleasure, and fun for the next 28 days I thought it was relevant to bring this back about being Neurodivergent, the dawn response and how that impacts pleasure & play!

If you want to join my free pleasure challenge grab the template. The info is in my bio.

Pleasure shouldn’t feel like another task on our to-do list or something we have to accomplish. As an autistic woman navigating High-Functioning Survival Mode™, I’m learning that centering pleasure means making it more accessible to my brain, body, and capacity.

Less decision fatigue.
Less pressure to be productive.
Less feeling like I have to earn joy, rest, or pleasure.

My 28 Days of Pleasure challenge starts in November. There’s a free template if you want to join the challenge 🤗

Let’s go girls we’re centering pleasure in our life for the next 28 days!

As a parentified daughter and a high masking neurodivergent girlie navigating High-Functioning Survival Mode™, I wanted to be more intentional about centering pleasure in my life so I turned it into a game. If you want to join me there’s a free template in my bio 🤗

Youngest daughters come to the front! It’s your time to shine and be seen for who you truly are and not who you’ve had to perform to be. #youngestdaughter #highachievingwomen #highfunctioningsurvivalmode #nervousystemhealing by @simplysamrae

As a parentified eldest daughter, life beyond survival looks like having a pleasure Dom who creates a container where I can safely exist without constant performance while experiencing an immense amount of pleasure.

It looks like sovereign submission where I have the power to choose. I give myself the permission to center my own pleasure.

A life beyond the High-Functioning Survival Mode™ construct doesn’t have to involve kink or BDSM but for me I think it does and I’m finally comfortable enough to admit it publicly.

Ready to let go 💋

Survival has been passed down through generations in my family. The women that came before me were strong, resilient, and they always persevered. While I’m grateful for those skills, life is meant to be lived and not only survived.

In this season of my life it feels like my duty to build a life beyond survival. To do things from a place of desire, and pleasure rather than from obligation.
