#repost • @bet After the Eaton Fire devastated their community, Christa Cole and Paija Hudson founded “Sincerely, 2 LA Girls,” a nonprofit providing customized care packages for plus-size individuals often overlooked by traditional donation efforts. The name reflects their pride as passionate Los Angeles natives who are dedicated to giving back to their city through acts of kindness. Both credit their parents for teaching them selflessness early on, as they remember participating in annual closet cleanouts and donating unused clothing to women’s shelters. With these values instilled in them, launching a nonprofit to help plus-size individuals impacted by the California wildfires was a natural step. For more on how these two women are giving back to the community, click link in bio. #CommunityHeroes by @sincerely2lagirls

Thanks to thesourceLA and @tenita.ballard for having us out at your event to service the plus sized community at your community day.

Thanks to @dj.gotalot and @auntie.rhondas.house for being our extra hands on donation days

We are so happy that we were able to help so many people with the help of our Donors and sheer passion we got it done , but we aren’t done yet.

Our next event is in Leimert Park and we will be servicing the plus sized community and everyone else we can help.

When God says move, learn to move silently. I’m sure if I had asked God or anyone about the how, when, or why we wouldn’t have been so successful. This time we acted on faith and it works.

Please follow @sincerely2lagirls because we are just getting started
