A Groovy 30th Birthday Celebration!🕺🏽🥂

It felt so special celebrating this milestone with all my people! I was back and forth about what I wanted to do if anything at all but everything just worked out. I didn’t even realize how much I needed this to just be care free and in the moment with so much love.

Lesson learned:
1. Receive the love because you’re worthy
2. Soak in the moment because tomorrow isn’t promised
3. Make the time to celebrate because Life is too serious
4. Live in Gratitude because the blessings are everywhere everyday by @pavedaccessories

About two years ago I was blessed to join the team of developing @google first-ever Image Equity Fellowship. The goal; providing funding, mentorship, resources and a platform for emerging lens-based artists of color to tell the stories of THEIR communities through THEIR lens and perspective. 20 fellows; $20,000 in funds; 6 months.

I am so humbled and grateful for this opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself and be inspired by some of the most talented people I’ve ever met. Extremely grateful for the leadership of @floriankoenigsberger and @raaddss for keeping us grounded in our mission and always coming from a place of love and grace. Thank you @creativetheoryagency for seeing my potential to be a part of something so special and a team of kind, passionate creatives @briachristinaaa (Official partner in crime lol)
