💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼Finally, after months of sanding, gluing, stretching, painting, lifting and carrying these gigantic panels around —each weighing about 20 kilos— we are nearly ready!

✈️ On my way to West Palm Beach to install my solo show, ‘Some Like it Hot’ which opens this Saturday 🎨✈️

A huge thank you to everyone who supported me throughout this journey: the gallery team 🏛️, all those who lent a hand 🙌, and especially my ride-or-die buddies ❤️‍🔥. I couldn’t have done it without you. Stay tuned for updates! 🌟

👯Jokes aside, I’m super delighted, honoured and humbled to be listed amongst this powerhouse list of bad ass women @designanthology_uk

👩‍🎨Although I wouldn’t call myself a designer, my practice at times looks and feels more like a design than painting studio, especially with the overlaps in public art and large scale works.

🌺Below my favourite quote they used from my interview.

🥘 Swipe left to see my top lunches / dinners I’ve cooked for people who both visit and work in the studio 💓

…

Tantra says she is interested in ‘creating a mini community within my own studio practice,’ including taking a leaf out of sculptor Anthony Gormley’s book and making lunch for everyone.

‘It’s a form of nurturing but it’s also a break away from the artificiality of what art is. The simplicity of eating something well can feed you in so many ways. You need that time out from the working day’

Petals of the Moon, a new public commission by Sinta Tantra, is now installed at The Sound in West Palm Beach 🌴

Created through a partnership between the City of West Palm Beach’s Art in Public Places program and Woodfield-Flagler Venture, the work marks the southern gateway to the city. Selected through a competitive process, Sinta continues her impressive work in public art, translating her language of colour and form into three dimensions.

Sited alongside Stub Canal, the forms reflect the sun and water, drawing on the area’s pineapple-growing history and the waterways that shaped it. Sinta describes the work as “a gesture of optimism and offering, connecting the earth beneath us with the sky and water that surround us.”

Mayor Keith A. James describes Petals of the Moon as “a wonderful example of what we can accomplish when the public and private sectors work together toward a shared vision.”

Congratulations to Sinta, and thank you to the City of West Palm Beach’s AiPP program, Sybille Canthal, Director of Arts and Woodfield-Flaglerenture for realising this project.

Public commemoration will take place in December 2026, coinciding with the opening of The Sound.

The sun is setting on our exhibition The Sun and The Moon. To mark the final week, we’re returning to where it all begins: the very first artwork you encounter, Sinta Tantra’s vibrant Celestial Bloom.

Her bold geometric rhythms and luminous colors set the cosmic tone the moment you step into the gallery. With only 7 days left before the show closes on September 6th, there’s no better time to bring your journey full circle.

Closing Sunday, September 8th

NOW SHOWING! SINTA TANTRA’S (@sintatantra) Salon exhibition “Akasa | Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup” is ongoing at our West Palm Beach Gallery until September 12, 2026.

Akasa, takes its name from a Sanskrit term for sky or space. In Balinese Hinduism it is one of five elements that make up the universe, symbolising openness, emptiness and a connection to the spiritual realm. While Tantra has explored similar themes in previous bodies of work, these latest paintings mark a shift in her colour palette away from darker, saturated tones to pared-back hues that play with the whiteness of the gallery space as well as the filtration of natural light to create a feeling of expansiveness. Here, emptiness is treated not as absence, but as an active condition, charged with potential. Pairing raw linen with dusty pink and her signature use of gold leaf, the paintings capture a dance between light and shadow, yin and yang forces, alongside a sense of tranquility and stillness. Rather than resolving into fixed compositions, these elements suggest a subtle push and pull, a continuous negotiation between presence and void.

New edition of ‘notes’ in conversation with @sintatantra Sinta Tantra who is interested in the interplay between colour, light, geometric and organic forms. Her paintings and installations are created in response to time and space, and are designed to subtly transform throughout the day, offering shifting moods and perspectives. Whether produced on a monumental scale or precisely rendered on canvas, her compositions employ a universal visual language that shifts the focus away from meaning to the emotional and physical experience of the artwork

Inspired by her works after seeing them in the Saatchi gallery, we found a beautiful connection to spirituality and emotion in her works. We hope you enjoy discovering the meanings behind her work and some other secrets we asked.
