Come yarn shopping with me in Oslo! Plus lots of mooching, coffees and exploring the city. I had such a lovely short trip here and here are all the shops I visited: 1. It’s nearly cold enough to wear and I love her!! Thinking to maybe block one more time to see if I can get a bit more width out the chest?? Off Grid Sweater by @rows_knitwear 🤍 by @skaltstudio
Oslo yarn haul!!! I don’t buy yarn very often and only really purchase if I have a plan/project for it, so I’m super excited for these and it was such a lovely way to spend my time in Oslo! #yarnhaul #yarnstore #filcolanaarwetta #sandesgarn by @skaltstudio
An unrealistic list of knitting patterns I’ve been thinking about recently 🤠 What’s next on your list?? (All designers/makers that I could find are tagged in the post!) #knitinspiration #autumnknitting #fallknitting by @skaltstudio

The last few weeks have been soooo busy with all lovely social things as summer comes to an end! I haven’t been working on my knitting machine much lately as life has taken over but here are some photos of the last few weeks in the UK and Oslo 🤍 I’m excited for a bit more social hibernation over winter, anyone else? 🧶 by @skaltstudio
(Too much waving for one video) but I’m having the best time on my trip! ❤️ I recorded all the yarn shops I went to, coming next 🤠 by @skaltstudio
It’s been a minute since I’ve done any fair isle knitting on my machine, I have a few new swatches to try and share soon 🤍 #knittingmachine #handmadeinlondon #knittingtechniques #fairisleknitting by @skaltstudio

My first WIP Wednesday on this page eeeeeeek 🧶 This was so fun to make and really want to start sharing more of the hand-knit projects I’m making No.1 are Ribbed Socks by @summer.lee.knits - I’ve freehanded a fair bit of this as I’ve made a few socks before, one of my favourite items to knit! No.2 the Off Grid sweater by @rows_knitwear - if anyone has been following me since I started this page you’ll be sick of seeing this but she’s nearly done! I’ve loved knitting this so much I need autumn pattern inspo so let me know what you’re making <3 #wipwednesday #knittingproject #offgridsweater #rowsknitwear #summerleeknits by @skaltstudio
Here’s a little tutorial on how to cast on your knitting machine using ravel cord & the E-wrap method! This is my favourite way to cast on as it helps to prevent dropping stitches and the e-wrap looks the neatest (in my opinion!) I’m sure there several ways to do an e-wrap but this is just how I like to do it - I hope this helps someone out who’s getting started on a knitting machine 🤍 What should I cover next? #machineknittingtutorial #lk150 #knittingmachine #smallhandmadebusiness by @skaltstudio
