idea stolen from @magicalmuffinss !! 🖤

don’t get me wrong, i loved making a new account and starting completely fresh (OCD thingz 😛) … but the one thing that sucks is i can’t really go back to the beginning of my cosplay journey. so i figured it would be fun to post some old photos that, without this post, may have never been on the internet again. 💀 i’ve been in such a nostalgic mood so this was incredibly bittersweet and fun for me. it reminds me how much i love this hobby, especially the amazing friends i’ve made from it.

it also made me miss when convention tickets were $65 for the whole weekend (especially cons like nycc) 🫩 … like it’s wonderful that this hobby has become so much more mainstream and popular, but can we make cons affordable again pls????

if you guys enjoyed seeing these pics, pls lmk because i’d love any excuse to make a part 2!!! :D

HAPPY WALPURGISNACHT RISING RELEASE DAY (in japan 😔)!!!!!!!! ✨🪽💞

i can’t wait for this movie to be released in the US. 😩 i’m sooo jealous of anyone who gets to see it!!

side note: i’ve always wanted to experiment with using procreate to draw more wig hairs on/fix any costume mishaps (like my stocking), so i tried it out with these photos and i LOVE how it looks. it felt super cool to combine two of my creative outlets together. ^_^ and thank you to the photographer for giving permission for me to try it out!!
