the fall to-do list is VERY serious this year 😆 🍂😬 will i buy another candle? absolutely. will i gaslight myself into thinking a pumpkin spice latte will fix everything? obviously. will i make questionable decisions but in a cute sweater? YUP. will we all finally get our skin together? (that's actually non-negotiable) anyways... what's on your list? 😂 by @skinbarbuffalo

you asked, we listened 💆🏻‍♀️✨️ if you've ever messaged asking, "which facial should book?" - you're definitely not the only one. after almost 10 years of working with skin, I've learned that the best treatments aren't chosen from a long list of facial names. thev're chosen after I actually see vour skin. so i'm simplifying the Skin Bar facial menu 🤍 beginning September 1, you`ll choose your time and we customize your treatment— 60 minutes - Skin Bar Custom 90 minutes - Skin Bar Signature 120 minutes - Skin Bar Ultimate depending on your skin and goals, your treatment may incorporate the modalities/techniques vou've already come to love including dermaplaning, LED, extractions, microcurrent, facial cupping, advanced exfoliation, sculpt massage and more! nothing you love is disappearing. the guesswork is and to celebrate the new menu, receive vour choice of a complimentary lip serum or sheet mask with any Skin Bar facial booked + received during September, while supplies last! you choose the time. we'll take care of vour skin. (new things coming!.. stay tuned!)✨️ by @skinbarbuffalo

a few years ago, Skin Bar Buffalo was just me, a treatment room, my clients, and a dream i couldn't stop thinking about. friday night i stood in a room filled with people celebrating something that once felt impossible. if you've been here for a while, you know this didn't happen overnight. there were years of early mornings, late nights, working two roles at once, taking chances on myself, learning lessons the hard way, sacrificing weekends, making mistakes, figuring it out as i went, and refusing to quit even when it would've been easier to. there were moments i questioned myself. moments i wondered if i was capable of building something bigger. moments where the finish line felt so far away. but somehow, here we are. standing in a space that was once just an idea in my head. surrounded by an incredible team that believes in this vision as much as i do. my team 🥺🤍.. they have shown up through the chaos, the construction dust, the endless projects, the last-minute decisions, the stress, and all of the moments in between. they believed in this dream, worked hard alongside me, and helped bring this vision to life. watching them welcome clients into our new home friday night was one of the proudest moments of my entire career. i am endlessly grateful for each of them, and Skin Bar Buffalo is better because of who they are. this weekend was overwhelming in the best possible way. every hug, every kind word, every flower, every person who walked through those doors reminded me why i fell in love with this industry in the first place. i'm so proud of what we've built. and for the first time in a long time, i'm allowing myself to stop for a second and actually take it all in. thank you for believing in me. thank you for believing in us. this is only the beginning. xoxo, maddie by @skinbarbuffalo
12 years ago i got my first job in spa management. from that moment on, i knew i’d be involved in the spa world somehow. i didn’t know what, i just knew. 4 years later, i took a chance and went to school. i busted my ass and became a licensed esthetician. after years of being surrounded by products, ingredient knowledge and this industry, i found a passion for helping people. little did i know, it would turn into this. i went through school thinking i’d become a lash tech, but instead i fell in love with skin. after graduating, i found myself not only a solo esti trying to make it, but also managing and running a spa at the same time. within my first 2 years as a licensed esthetician, i landed in the top 1% in the nation with PCA Skin, helped lead my spa to Best of 716, and was nominated into the Top 5 Estheticians in Western New York. i then spent years building my clientele and eventually stepped into a side business of 100% organic products, earning a fully paid trip to vegas after my team sold 4 million in 36 hours. in early 2023, i branched away from spa management and opened my very first skin studio. all me, all on my own. a lot of life happened in those years. i learned a lot about myself and the people around me. my clients became my backbone and my reason to keep going. fast forward 3 years, and here i am opening a brand new location with 2 amazing estheticians beside me and a team that feels like home. through loss, grief, broken friendships and broken hearts.. somehow, we are here. a dream is coming true. we’ve been working long hours renovating, moving, and making sure every detail is just right. (if you don’t believe me, ask the guy at lowe’s😂) thank you to every single client, colleague, friend, family member and stranger that made this possible. little girl maddie is so proud of big girl maddie right now. 🩷 stay tuned… and pardon our (absence from socials) & our dust while we bring you the next version you all deserve so much 🙏🏼🤍 by @skinbarbuffalo
this is your reminder that good results require a little bit of a plan, not just one appointment! waxing isn’t just a “last minute/before vacation” thing, it’s a consistency thing! (and the clients who start NOW?) they’re the ones smooth all summer long 🔥 we will be offering full body waxing in the new space + opening limited pre-book spots soon! ✨️ if you want first access → message me “SMOOTH” to reserve a spot! by @skinbarbuffalo
