Dr V created a skincare range specifically for skin of colour, and these are the products I’d reach for to help build a gentle routine for a more even, glowing-looking complexion ✨

🫧 Micellar Gel Wash to cleanse without being too harsh
🍊 Vitamin C Glow Serum for a gentle glow
💧 Serum Prep Moisturiser to support your skin barrier
☀️ InZincable Mineral Sunscreen, designed with darker skin tones in mind
🤎 T-Zincable Tinted Mineral Sunscreen with alpha-arbutin

I’m mixing two shades of T-Zincable for now, and I hope the shade range expands soon. It’s exciting to see a skincare range made with deeper skin tones in mind! by @skincarebydrv

Finally, a Vitamin C serum that actually understands your skin physiology. 🤎🧪
We didn’t just pick ingredients that "brighten." We selected actives specifically chosen to respect and protect the barrier of brown skin while targeting hyperpigmentation at the source.

Here is the breakdown of our Glow Serum Formula:
✨ Double Vitamin C Power:
• 2% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate: Lipid-soluble to penetrate the more compact epidermis of darker skin. Non-acidic means zero irritation.
• 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid: Stable and works at a skin-friendly pH.
🛡️ Barrier & Inflammation Control:
• 2% Niacinamide: Regulates melanosome transfer and strengthens the barrier.
• Ceramide Complex & Glycerin: Rebuilds lipids and prevents barrier shock.
• Liquorice Root: Targets redness and inhibits tyrosinase (the pigment trigger).
🌿 Safe Anti-Aging:
• 2% Peptides & Bakuchiol: Collagen signaling and retinol-like benefits without the risk of "pigment flare" or irritation.
• Coenzyme Q10: Prevents oxidative stress on melanocytes.

How it fits in with the daily range:
AM ROUTINE
Micellar gel wash
Vitamin C Glow Serum
Cera pep brightening moisturiser
Inzincable spf50.

PM ROUTINE
Full daily range

Most Vitamin C serums are formulated for white skin.
This one is engineered for melanin-rich skin.
