Constant change doesn’t equal good coaching.

Every adjustment should have a purpose. There’s a difference between a plan that isn’t working and a plan that isn’t being consistently executed.

Sometimes we need to adjust. Sometimes we need to improve adherence. And sometimes, the best coaching decision is to leave things exactly as they are.

The goal isn’t to constantly do more. It’s to consistently execute what works.

That’s coaching.

What topic should we cover next? by @skulptdcoaching

Motivation is a feeling. Discipline is a value. One fades, the other builds your physique, your business and your life.

Which one are you running on?

Just got back from Bali and I trained like normal, ate well, AND enjoyed every minute of it🌴

I kept the basics consistent and let the rest be fun.

That’s the difference between a plan that works on holiday and one that falls apart the second life gets in the way. Your coaching should fit your life, not the other way around.

Want to feel your best physically and mentally without giving up the things you love? I’ll build you a plan that does exactly that.

A life update so far 🏹￫

Building consistency and discipline. Weight is still pushing either maintaining or increasing which is lovely to see.

5 days a week, 2 upper body days, 3 lower body days. 30 mins of cardio 4-5 times a week. 14k steps.

The plan is already set, I just need to execute. Not every session is going to feel amazing and motivation isn’t always going to be there, but that doesn’t change the standard of what’s expected. There is no excuse for not showing up in this case.

The goal is to become someone who follows through, not someone who just attends when it’s convenient.

And my biggest struggle. The food aspect.

Nourishing my body with whole foods seems perfect. But it’s not always easy to eliminate the food noise.

One thing I’m trying to change my mindset around is that food is fuel. It supports my recovery and training. But for me, it’s also about enjoying what I eat. I don’t want food to feel like a chore or something I’m constantly restricting. I look forward to each meal and appreciate the role it plays. I find it important in seeing food as both a necessity to survive and an enjoyment.

As an Aussie-Asian, food has always brought my culture and family together. But it’s important to remind myself those things will still be there at the end and I’ve opened a new level to how much I will appreciate it an off season.

If you’re a 5’10 girl like me you’ll understand what it’s like to feel like a baby giraffe. I’ve never been a dancer or someone who can move their body elegantly or naturally (lol), but starting early and consistent practice makes things fall into place.

If there was a real show date, no doubt would this be implemented and hammered into my weekly schedule, so it should be now.

This is the perfect opportunity to figure out what times and practice lengths work best for me and to refine and learn habits that will matter and show in the long run.

Not only is it necessary, but finding enjoyment in it makes the process 10x easier. Investing into posing lessons gives me 1. a chance to see my girl @karaconry and 2. making sure the confidence is there well before jumping into anything. This shit takes years, not wee by @skulptdcoaching
