“No—Why?”

In the moments when we hear a “no,” it often feels like a shut door. But what “no” really means….

“No” means protection.
“No” means redirection.
“No” means there is something better.
“No”means I won’t let you settle.
“No” means the wait will be worth it.
“No” means there is a bigger picture that I cannot see.

Ironically, these “no” moments can be some of the most profound gifts from God, tailored for His beloved children. Though I have shed countless tears over perceived rejections, I find myself embracing His “no” because “no” means a greater understanding of why He didn’t say “yes”. by @skyecandesign

Change IS happening and change NEEDS to happen. Change isn’t easy but with God change is worth it! 🍃🦋🌈☀️ by @skyecandesign

Designing through the test. ✨ Even in seasons of pressure and temptation, I’m reminded to count it all joy — because every challenge shapes me into something stronger and more beautiful. by @skyecandesign

Just as a farmer waits for the early and ladder rain, we too are to trust in God and wait patiently in his perfect timing 🛋️ by @skyecandesign

Hey, I’m Skye Cannady — and welcome to The Hive 🍯

I’m a designer, photographer, and visual storyteller who creates from a place of purpose.

After a season of refining and realigning, I’m stepping into this space with renewed vision — where creativity and divine inspiration come full circle.

You’ll find art and design that reflect more than just aesthetic — they reflect intention, identity, and faith.

Let’s build, create, and fly together.

Bringing visions to life is my favorite part of design! Here’s a flyer I created for my home church (Sardis Temple Baptist Church) I focused on color, feeling, and target audience to make it stand out. What’s your favorite part of it? by @skyecandesign

OH! How I love design…this specific project was a collaboration between artists and mental health. Edward Honker used his photography to express what he was really feeling on the inside. Here is a magazine cover of a photograph by the famous Edward Honaker with an overlay of my graphics to push the idea of the effects mental health have on artists 🧠🌪️⛓️‍💥 by @skyecandesign

I’m glad I had the chance to create something so unique and outside of my comfort zone. “A JOYFUL NOISE” 🌤️💐😊🎧 is now on Apple Music and Spotify!
