Goddess @yinbijin in her gothic glory 🖤 by @sleep__never

I had the honor of making the great @jarvis.hammer this epic David Bowie inspired look for @bouletbrothersdragula and am beyond proud of them and this masterpiece.

The base material was a stretch PVC that I fused to yield a structured leather-like material for the body while leaving the sleeves stretchy for mobility. I printed the graphics on a @cricut , pattern matched the hell out of it and topstitched every single line. The insides lined with a black and white fabric as a nod to the original Kasai Yamamoto masterpiece.

Needless to say, this was a gloriously laborious project and one of the craziest pieces I've made thus far. 😈🤟🏼🔪

If you're not watching @bouletbrothers Dragula, hop on @shudder or @amcplus and do yourself a favor.

🚨 WE IN INTERNATIONAL PRINT! 🚨

I'm so proud, thankful and honored to have 3 pieces featured in @ellechina @superellechina thanks to my AMAZING official (unofficial lol) drag mother @louisiannapurchase !!!

I've been collaborating with Louisiana for nearly a decade now and it's been an absolute pleasure to see her evolve, excel and SLAY the drag world. She's such a full-bodied artist with defined style and vision for her world and she always helps push my own artistry. I love you mama!

This chiffon corset dress was a FEAT to get the structure down (erect?) while maintaining the sheerness and softness of the chiffon but damn did we nail it!

I also outfitted the lovely @lvnaknight in a sheer baby boll dress made of reclaimed tulle and @sinfulpurchase in a satin smocked gown.

This shoot was an absolute dream and such a fun day bonding with the House Of Purchase. We doing the damn thing, y'all!

Before it became this gold goddess moment, it started as a lump of brown upholstery fabric found in a Goodwill bin. 🤯

Austin designer @sleep__never saw the potential, transformed it, dyed it gold and used nearly every scrap to create this one-of-a-kind gown for the @austingoodwill gala.

And THAT is what I love about secondhand. ♻️ Sometimes something doesn’t need to be new to be extraordinary… it just needs someone to see what it could be.

Style sustainably. Shop secondhand. Support local. 💚 by @sleep__never

Austin designer Aaron Torres of @sleep__never took a pile of brown fabric and completely transformed it for tonight’s @austingoodwill Gala.

Almost every single scrap was used. The fabric was dyed GOLD ✨ and turned into what might be the most gorgeous gown ever.

Proof that with a little creativity, something overlooked can become something extraordinary. ♻️✨

Full reveal tonight. And I’ll post a Part 2 tomorrow.

♥️ Aaron Torres presents his designs at the Border AIDS partnership’s Border Runway event at the El Paso Community Foundation.

We have been long time fans of @sleep__never work so when we got a chance to see one of his runways, it was truly a treat!

The reveal. ✨

For Art Bra Austin, designer Aaron Torres @sleep__never and I wanted to honor the theme Radiance Reclaimed through this gown’s transformation. What began as a beautiful but discarded prom dress was carefully cut apart, reimagined, and rebuilt into something even more radiant.

👉👉👉In many ways, that journey reflects the strength of the breast cancer survivors we celebrated; women who have endured loss, change, and challenges, yet emerge with remarkable resilience, beauty, and light.

And what a night it was. Together, Art Bra Austin raised $1.2 million for the @bcrcoftx Breast Cancer Resource Center, helping ensure that no one has to face breast cancer alone by providing support and guidance from diagnosis through survivorship.

✨ Radiance reclaimed.

Thank you to @promrack for the dress and to @sleep_never for the incredible care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that transformed it into a true masterpiece.

If you’re looking for alterations, custom fittings, or a designer who genuinely cares about making people feel their best, Aaron is your guy. He’s not paying me to say this. I just believe in supporting talented local business owners, and his work deserves all the recognition. by @sleep__never

✨ Final fitting day! ✨

Come with me to the final fitting for the dress I’ll be wearing as a host for @bcrcoftx’s Art Bra Austin 2026.

My incredible designer and friend, Aaron @sleep__never , has transformed a discarded prom dress into a completely new hosting gown inspired by this year’s theme, Radiance Reclaimed.

What was once destined to be forgotten has been thoughtfully upcycled into something beautiful, proving that sustainability and style can shine together.

This year’s Art Bra® Austin celebrates the strength, resilience, and beauty of breast cancer survivors while embracing a more sustainable future for fashion.

Every design on the runway helps support the Breast Cancer Resource Center and the life-changing services they provide.

Stay tuned for the reveal!

This Saturday night we will be getting together at MoHA in Austin TX to mend and remix our clothing with pro artists + sewists @corinneloperfido @sleep__never @wholegrayn & @solidgoldsans

Bring something to swap, bring something to fix or embellish, and come get creative on your favorite items!

Sewing and mending are life skills that we all need to cultivate because *we all wear clothing* so we each have a personal responsibility to divest from the fast fashion industrial complex. Taking care of the clothes we already have so can keep them in circulation helps the earth, and in the alleged age of AI, we should strive to EXPRESS ourselves using our real minds and hands, even if things are not “perfect”.

PART 1 OF 2 ✨

Three lives. One dress.

What began as a donated prom dress, then became a gown I wore while hosting a Make-A-Wish gala, is now getting a third life.

Instead of sitting in a closet collecting dust, it’s being transformed by the crazy talented @sleep__never into a one-of-a-kind piece for Art Bra Austin, inspired by this year’s theme: Radiance Reclaimed.

I’m honored to wear the finished design while hosting the @bcrcoftx Breast Cancer Resource Center’s Art Bra Austin Gala this Saturday, June 6.

MORE ABOUT THE GALA:
More than a runway show, this incredible event celebrates resilience, creativity, and survivorship through extraordinary wearable art modeled by breast cancer survivors and BCRC clients whose strength and radiance inspire us all.🩷

Art Bra Austin is also BCRC’s largest fundraiser of the year, helping provide free education, guidance, and support to those navigating breast cancer.

Stay tuned for Part 2… the reveal. ✨ by @sleep__never
