What an amazing week this was! I got to spend some much needed quality time with my nephews; at the beach, at Disney, at Dave n’ Busters, roller rink, the garden, the speedway…you name it, we did it! They were so happy to spend their Disney day with @def.n0t_delilah I will cherish these memories and this time in their lives. They are exceptional humans and I’m so proud and grateful to be their auntie! Thank you boys for an amazing vaca! by @smaher26
Hear ye! Hear ye! Ya girl is in a show! I’m so excited for this one! It’s such a fun show, with such a fun cast and production team! And I get to perform alongside one of my students! I play so many silly characters! And I’ve enjoyed tap, tap tapping again! Ticket link in bio! We open 3 weeks from today! by @smaher26
I am a little bit behind on posting all of my show footage from this semester, but here is “Come and Trip It” by Handel. 5.7.26 There is some good, some not so good…but always something to learn. I did not choose this classical path thinking it would be easy. It is out of my comfort zone but I am proud of the growth. It’s all about pulling out a performance no matter what is happening behind the scenes. The show goes on and we are here to deliver! Enjoy! by @smaher26
First Applied Music Recital of the spring 2026 semester. March 26th. I enjoyed singing this one. Such a melancholy song. “Beau Soir” by Claude Debussy. #singing #debussy #college #musicmajor #classical by @smaher26
Happy Easter! It’s a beautiful day and we love an Easter hunt! by @smaher26
I’m very pleased to share my Applied Music Lab juries. I challenged myself this semester with a more classical repertoire. It was challenging, exciting and very enjoyable. In the new year I hope to keep challenging myself and work through the nerves of getting up onstage by myself, with no ensemble or character to hide behind. I look forward to continuing my lessons and expanding my toolbox of skills and knowledge. goodbye 2025, hello 2026!!! Happy New Year! by @smaher26
Had a great time being away for a few days and seeing family! It was a #fullhouse indeed! by @smaher26
Here’s a clip from my fall ‘25 Holiday concert @lahcedu What a privilege it was to be selected as a soloist and get to sing one of my favorite Xmas songs. This was a hard day for me, as I couldn’t be with my fabulous students as they performed a 2-show day of Elf Jr. All of the stress I was feeling showed up (or rather, didn’t show up) in my voice. But it’s important for me to be an example of what it looks like to keep pursuing personal growth. #alwaysastudent #keeplearning #keepgrowing by @smaher26
