Grateful to be able to step outside, soak up the sun and follow the blueprint @theleverking has mapped out.

We’ve got some work to do, let’s get to it!

Equipment: FP bands, Tierra Madre

About a full year into this journey and still learning how to navigate this body. I’ve stayed the course and seen some significant results. In this video I maybe threw 2/3 times in between the first and Final Cut. No warm up or time to analyze the adjustments just went out there and started chucking with blueprint @theleverking has created to walk, run and throw better in mind. More to come this is just a scratch on the surface. ———————————————————————
“Before FP, I struggled on a day-to-day from going to work and being able to accomplish work activities, extracurricular activities as a baseball coach. Days were tougher than others where I wouldn’t even be able to help pick up baseballs or bend over to tie my shoes because of lower back and sciatica pain.

Now I feel confident on a day-to-day where I can do those activities with no worries. I can enjoy time with my son and not worry about how I’ll feel later that day. My energy has increased tremendously.“

Centerfielders, go and be a ball hawk. When you have the mindset of covering everything from foul pole to foul pole you create mindset that no ball shall fall and are willing to leave your feet to make a big play. When you communicate with your corner guys(pre pitch) you are getting everyone on the same page and allowing yourself to play freely & trust your instincts.

💎Be a ball hawk

💎Communicate

💎Trust your instincts

If you are a corner outfielder (CF at times) the glove side turn (lefty playing LF, Righty playing RF) will help get the ball in quick with a strong throw. Being able to redirect your momentum without completely stopping to throw will help you get outs.

💎Gloveside turn on balls hit down the line

💎keep your momentum for a strong throw

💎shut down the run game

As a SS it is crucial you have good footwork to make big plays. As I like to say lazy feet don’t eat. Catching the ball is only half the play, you have to make a good throw to finish it.

💎Good footwork will put you in the right spot to field

💎good feet set you up for a solid throw & takes stress off the arm

💎lazy feet dont eat. Finish the play

3rd baseman knowing your situations is key to being able to take and make space. The ball can get on you quick over there where you have plenty of time to throw or you’re fielding a bunt and have to get rid of it quickly..

💎know your hitter & situation

💎make space & take away space to make good throws

2nd basemen, its important for you to have confidence in your glove. Be confident with the ball hit right at you, backhand and forehand. Being able to field all these routinely will make you a great second baseman and you can focus on hitting and being a menace at the plate.

💎be confident with your glove ball at you, backhand and forehand

💎Pitchers love a guy who can make the routine plays

💎be a menace at the plate

First baseman’s are known for being the least athletic player in the field… let’s change that! If you can get to your athletic position before the throw is being made you’ll give yourself an Ez read on ball in flight allowing you to anticipate where that ball will be and what your next move should be.

💎Get to the bag earlier and be in your athletic position

💎be a small target but a big receiver

💎read ball in flight to make a big play

Catchers you can see it all, be the orchestrator and move your pieces accordingly. Take notes of what guys have done up n down the line up so when it counts later in the game you can make the crucial outs.

💎read swings

💎don’t be scared to move your def around

💎Stay ahead of the game
