My greatest joy in life is my best friend and my wife Charlotte. We have the most beautiful blessing, raising the most incredible little boy Handré.

Hands down, @lechonpdx in Portland delivered one of the best meals we've had. A friend's rec proved true and we wish we'd gone earlier! Fantastic food, amazing staff, and chef smitty10011 stole the show. Lobster chaufa and Iberia pork loin were must-haves - we even ordered more! Thanks for the awesome experience and Seattle recommendations. Can't wait to return! #pdx #pdxeats #localeats #foodadventure #foodie #portlandoregon #portland by @smitty10011

I never thought a vegan dessert could taste this extraordinary, but Lechon’s vegan lava cake has completely changed my perspective. It’s not just a dessert—it’s a life-changing experience.

The lava cake is everything you’d want in a decadent treat: rich, fudgy, and irresistibly gooey in the center. It’s hard to believe it’s entirely plant-based, as it delivers all the indulgence of a classic lava cake without compromise. The pairing of the cake with creamy, perfectly churned vegan gelato is pure genius. The gelato’s refreshing texture and subtle sweetness balance the cake’s richness flawlessly.

This dessert proves that vegan options can be just as satisfying, if not more so, than their traditional counterparts. It’s not just a dessert—it’s a revelation. Whether you’re vegan or not, this dessert is a MUST-ORDER for anyone who loves dessert done right. Highly recommended! It was the utmost pleasure to have this full experience at Lechon

🍴 Iberico Secreto ($45)

Lechon has outdone itself with the Iberico Secreto. This dish highlights the incredible quality of Iberico pork, known for its marbled texture and rich, nutty flavor. The meat is perfectly seared, locking in a tender, juicy center with a beautiful char on the outside.

The seasoning is understated but thoughtful, allowing the natural flavors of the pork to shine while complementing it with subtle notes of herbs and spices. The accompanying sides elevate the dish even further — whether it’s a bright citrus glaze, roasted vegetables, or the sauce pairing, each component is meticulously crafted to balance the dish.

While $45 may seem steep, the experience of savoring such a premium cut is well worth it. Pair it with a glass of red wine or cocktail from their excellent selection for an unforgettable meal. Lechon’s Iberico Secreto is a must-try for anyone who appreciates the art of cooking fine meats.

Shrimp Ceviche
The shrimp ceviche bursts with freshness, featuring plump shrimp delicately marinated in a citrus-forward leche de tigre. The balance of acidity, spice, and sweetness in this dish is impeccable, with notes of mango and red onion adding depth and vibrancy.

The presentation of each dish at Lechon is nothing short of cinematic—a nod to the artistry you’d expect on Chef’s Table. Each plate is meticulously crafted, almost too beautiful to eat, and a testament to the executive chef’s background at The Ritz-Carlton. This pedigree is evident not only in the food’s flavor but in the unparalleled attention to detail in every element of the dining experience.
