Hey! ✨

Im Cleo, a nail tech based in Portsmouth, Southsea. I started in November 2025 and still learning and growing my business at Smokin nails! I absolutely LOVE doing nails and my dream is to be able to do it full time. I work with builder gel on natural nails and I like to keep my designs playful and fun, my faves are doodle nail art and I love a trinket 😎

Prior to choosing my nail path, I was an illustrator selling prints and taking part in markets, selling my work in shops or pop up events. I still sell my work you can check it out here @cleoparkerillustration

I have started a stopped a few ventures including tattooing and stick and pick tattoos, but I don’t feel like it was me. When nails were suggested to me, it clicked! I’ve always had my nails done, as a kid always painted my nails and stuck stickers on them. So, it was a no brainer, I can create mini art and make your nails pretty and it fills me with joy!

Welcome to my page and I hope to meet more of you soon DM to book in with me ✌️ 🚬 by @smokin_nailsss

Leopard print again OBVIOUSLY 🐆 Soz got bored of Halloween.

Based off the first ever set I did on myself. Raspberry ripple with a lil cat eye leopard print because we know that’s my fave look. 🚬

It’s been a whole year since I started 🥂

Thank you to all my supportive friends, and new people I’ve met along the way. It’s been a tough ride, finding clients isn’t easy. I’ve also had to move home twice which has now meant I can’t do nails from my own home. I work a 9-5 job to pay the bills too, so finding a salon space isn’t easy.

For now, I’m now offering a mobile service. I bring all my nail supplies and keep the space clean. I have a nail dust collector too so you don’t need to worry about toxic dust everywhere in your home. All I need is a table and plug sockets near by. While this isn’t ideal, it’s the only way I can do nails currently. If anyone knows of a space where I can work every Saturday this would help! I can now afford a chair and I’m happy to do walk ins too 🥰

I really want to keep this business going, I love meeting new people, and I enjoy creating fun nail art. There’s a lot of competition and while I know a lot of you are loyal to your nail techs all I ask, is that you give anyone looking for a new nail tech my name ❤️✨ 🚬

Help me keep my little business going!

Much love,

Sometimes just a lil touch of nail art is so satisfying instead of all the works 😍 Not our usual autumn set but a classic evil eye is an all year thing let’s be honest! Thank u @leighwhatone 🧿

From this…..

To this ✨

In just 4 weeks, using builder gel with the right prep and application, can help your nails grow stronger! Some people enjoy long nails and are afraid to step away from long acrylics because they don’t want “stubby nails”. I can assure you I don’t either, I’ve always bitten my nails and had a small, weak nail bed. However, for only a short amount of time you may have very short nails. Soon enough they grow into the nails you have always wanted! Just be a lil patient, it’s worth it and without the pain and damaged nails you may have underneath from years of acrylics.

Nail art is cool, but the right nail prep and application is key to good quality nails ✨
