Seeking Real Moments & Quiet Exploration

POSTS STORIES REELS

After leaving Winnipeg, one of my first stops was Grand Beach on Lake Winnipeg. It wasn't busy at all, which made the experience even more beautiful. As the sun began to set, I got to soak in the incredible sounds of nature, the gentle waves and the peacefulness of having the beach almost entirely to myself.

Moments like these remind me that nature is art in its purest form. No soundtrack needed, just the beauty of what's already there. 🌅

5 Weeks of @catlin_from_atlin in my life 🫶🐈‍⬛

Let's just say we've seen a lot together in such a short amount of time and collected plenty of love along the way! ❤️ From one adventure to the next, I'm pretty sure this little girl is going to see more of Canada than most cats ever will. 😂🐾

And this is only the beginning... so many more adventures to come! 🌎🚐

😂 Couldn't resist when I recently heard this soundtrack from @adamsandler movie The Waterboy.

One of my first stops while working my way through Alaska was Matanuska Glacier. I had absolutely no idea where I was heading, but somehow stumbled upon a glacier tour and they let me join the last group of the day, even though they’d already left! 🤣

Naturally, I had to sample some fresh glacier water. Just another day of going with the flow… sometimes literally. 😂🧊💧🚐 Thanks fir guiding us @samcdan_ @matanuskaglacier

I recently travelled through northern Canada and Alaska, working my way south and getting to experience the beauty of fall for several months along the way! 🍁🍂🚐

Here are some of my favourite photos captured along the road. The colours, the landscapes, and all the little moments in between made for one incredible journey. 🛣️🌲🏔️

Got to check out Gimli while driving through Manitoba, and it turned out to be a pretty cool little place! 🇮🇸

Gimli has a fascinating Icelandic heritage and one of the largest Icelandic communities in Canada. Definitely an interesting stop with a lot more history than you might expect from a small lakeside town!

Always love discovering places like this along the way. You never know what you'll find when you take the time to explore! 🇨🇦

I came looking for birds and ended up finding the cutest little otters playing around instead! 🦦❤️ One of my favourite unexpected moments from my last few days in Ontario before heading out west a few months ago. Sometimes the best experiences are the ones you never planned for. 😊

🐻🍯 A Hundred Years of Pooh Bear Magic! 🧸
Not only did I visit Winnie the Pooh Park in White River, Ontario, but I also stopped by the Pavilion Gallery Museum in Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg, to explore the Pooh Gallery! @pooh

Pretty cool learning the real Canadian history behind the bear that inspired one of the world's most beloved characters. 🇨🇦 And what better time to reflect on that history than the 100-year anniversary! Some pretty sweet history behind that little bear. 🍯🐻

Just a quick Happy Thanksgiving from me and Catlin! 🧡🐾

A little reminder to be present and cherish the time you have with family, especially if you’re lucky enough to still have multiple generations around.

Ask the questions. Listen to the stories. Learn about the lives they lived before you came along. Put the phone down, be in the moment, and make those memories while you can.

We often get so caught up in everyday life that we forget just how precious that time is. One day, those conversations and stories will be the things we wish we could experience just one more time.

Wishing everyone a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and gratitude. ❤️

Me and Catlin finally made it to Vancouver Island early this morning after barely getting any sleep. It’s been an emotional few days, but we’ll be heading home tomorrow morning to see Mum and whoever else wants to see us, just in time for Thanksgiving. ❤️

Who knows, maybe Catlin has a future as an emotional support cat. 🐾 She already seems to have a pretty special way of making people smile everywhere we go, and we’ve met so many wonderful people along the way.

After everything these past few days, I’m really looking forward to being home, being with the people who matter, and making the most of the time we have together. ❤️
