Today, watching my Sneha start her own dance class, I had the happiest tears in my eyes. We may be cousins, but she has always been more like a sister to me. Seeing her passion turn into something of her own makes me unbelievably proud🥹🤍

And somewhere, I’m proud of myself too. Proud that I never judged her or tried to discourage her because she chose to pursue her UG and PG in Arts. I chose to believe in her dreams, and today, watching her take this step makes me realize how beautiful that choice was.

We often grow up believing that success means becoming a doctor, an engineer, or choosing a “safe” profession. But the world needs artists too. It needs dancers, singers, actors, painters, creators, and people who choose to turn their passion into their profession.

Today, parents are proud when their children explore their interests and talents, but sometimes that pride disappears when their child says, “I want to make this my career.”

Maybe it’s time we change that mindset.
Your children are not here to fulfil the dreams you couldn’t. They are individuals with their own dreams, passions, and paths. Let them choose. Let them try. Let them fail and Let them build a life that makes them happy. Because choosing a different path doesn’t mean choosing a lesser path.

Snehaa, I’m so, so proud of you♥️♥️ @sneha_sunil_28
This is only the beginning of something beautiful. Keep dancing, keep believing, and keep growing. Wishing you the biggest success🤍
And my heart is simply full😭🤍
