We're a small team of two with big plans to make life with dogs in Australia a whole lot easier!

Ryan: Co-Founder, chief problem solver and the bloke (Dad) who does all the work while Lexi sleeps.

Lexi: Co-Founder, Head of Customer Satisfaction, professional noodle horse, serial napper and self-appointed boss of absolutely everything.

Together, we're building Sniffado to help Aussie dog lovers discover dog-friendly places, services, events and everything else that makes life with our four-legged mates better.

It's a bit of a passion project, a lot of hard work and occasionally interrupted by demands for sardines.

Now over to you! Who's really the boss in your household, you or your dog? 😂👇

Google Sniffado, or see links in Bio to find parks and beaches, businesses, manage health routines, manage important reminders, share the feeding and walking responsibilities with others in your household, or sitters, check walking weather, and so more!!

Website live!! App coming very very soon (next week or two hopefully)

Five dogs were reportedly taken to the same vet in ONE day with suspected snake bites.

So with the weather warming up, probably a good time for us dog owners to start thinking about snakes again.

According to Animal Emergency Service, they treat thousands of dogs for snake bites in Australia each year.

And one of the problems is you might not actually see the bite. The puncture marks can be tiny and hidden under your dog's fur.

Some of the signs to look out for are sudden weakness or wobbliness, shaking or muscle tremors, dilated pupils, lethargy, paralysis or unusual bleeding. Symptoms aren't always immediate either.

If you think your dog might have been bitten, keep them as calm and still as possible and get veterinary help immediately.

It's also worth calling the vet while you're on the way, because not every clinic stocks snake antivenom.

And definitely don't go trying to catch or kill the snake.

Snakes generally bite when they feel threatened.

And we've got to remember, when our dogs are sticking their noses into long grass, bushes, under logs and all those little places they absolutely HAVE to investigate...

They're sticking their noses into the snake's habitat.

So keep an eye on those curious noses, give snakes their space, and hopefully we can keep everyone safe this snake season.

Dogs and snakes included. 🐶🐍

Make sure fences are secure for your dogs after recent earthquake in Melbourne.

#melbourneearthquake #melbourneearthquake2026 #dogsaustralia by @sniffado.dogs

🐾 Hope all the dogs, and their humans, are OK after the earthquake.

Our dogs can have absolutely no idea what’s going on when something like this happens, so give them an extra cuddle.
