$Yet ANOTHER reason not to skip 🦵 leg day 👀 That 👆isn’t just fitness advice. It’s backed by research.Studies have found that resistance training can: * Increase muscle mass and strength * Improve insulin sensitivity and blood sugar regulation * Increase bone density * Reduce the risk of falls and fractures * Improve balance and mobility * Support heart and metabolic health * Improve mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression * Be associated with better memory and cognitive function as we age Your 🦵🦵s are your largest muscle group. Training them creates a powerful whole-body response, releasing compounds from your muscles (called myokines) that help support healthy communication between your muscles, brain, and other organs. Researchers are actively studying how this “muscle-brain connection” may help protect cognitive function as we age. While strength training isn’t a guaranteed way to prevent Alzheimer’s disease, maintaining muscle strength and staying physically active are consistently associated with healthier brain aging🤔 These are my go-to leg exercises: ✔️ Pendulum Squats ✔️ Hip Thrusts ✔️ Single-Leg Work ✔️ Hamstring Curls ✔️ Leg Press Comment LEGS and I’ll send you my favorite leg workout. 💪 #sober #fitnessmotivation #legdayworkout by @soberkatt$

Most people see the life I have now.

They don’t always see the years I spent chasing success while quietly falling apart.

I went from making six and seven figures in software and owning businesses… to getting sober in 2015 and rebuilding my life from the ground up. Again. Sobriety was step 0, not the finish line.

I took a $17-an-hour job at a treatment center because I needed to learn. Six months later, I took a risk and opened my own. That one step eventually grew into multiple addiction and mental-health businesses @lagunashoresrecovery

In 2024, I was rebaptized and gave my whole life back to Jesus. Like .. FULL SURRENDER because even sober I was still holding on to some areas of my life Jesus wanted me to hand over 👀 (relatable? 🤔)

In 2025, I FINALLY MET & married the man @straughnzyy I had prayed and waited for. (Ladies, DO NOT SETTLE! Hear me: Your man is out there … chase Jesus with your whole heart, seek 1st the Kingdom and watch God do His thing 😘) My husband is EVERYTHING AND more I’ve desired. He was worth every lonely night, every 😢tear and every prayer 🙏. Gods timing is always perfect! Trust the process 🥰

In 2026, I published The Comeback Blueprint, became a bestselling author, and launched Kingdom Longevity Labs with my best friend

None of it happened in a straight line. But none of it was wasted either.

@straughnzyy and I started @kingdomlongevity because we believe we are people who have been rescued for a reason. God has entrusted us with our time, health, relationships, influence, talents, resources, and the Gospel not just for ourselves, but so we can serve others and fulfill what He has called us to do.

We partner with Kingdom-minded doctors to help people uncover what may be out of balance, address root causes, and support the body in getting back to the way God designed it to function: strong, energized, resilient, and equipped for the assignment He has placed on their life.

Comment “KINGDOM” and we’ll send you our health assessment so you can see where you currently fall on the health stewardship scale and identify what your body may need next. 🤍

I didn’t become a CEO because I’m special.
I became a CEO because I stopped letting my addiction run the show.

The truth?
I didn’t lose my intensity when I got sober.
I just learned how to aim it.

The same obsession that once destroyed my life is the obsession that rebuilt it.
And that’s the part no one talks about.

You don’t need a new personality.
You need a new direction.

The fire 🔥was always there.
Sobriety just taught me how to use it.

11 years sober. The greatest lessons Ive learned had NOTHING to do with alcohol 🍷🤯

11 lessons that changed my life:

1. Nobody is coming to save you. Take ownership of your life and ACTIONS. Only YOU can do the work.

2. Discipline beats motivation. Do what you said you’d do, especially when you don’t feel like it. This one was HUGE FOR ME!

3. Your environment determines your elevation. Get in rooms that challenge you. POWER IN PROXIMITY. Get around people who have the life you want and do what they do!

4. Stop negotiating your standards. What you tolerate becomes your reality.

5. Success doesn’t = fulfillment. I’ve made $millions and still felt empty. Fulfillment comes from serving others.

6. You don’t need rock bottom to change. Being sick of your own excuses is enough. You’re 1 decision away from a COMPLETELY different life …1!

7. Stop dating potential. Patterns tell the truth. Promises don’t.

8. Your past doesn’t define your future. Reinvention is ALWAYS an option. The best part… you can start TODAY!🙌

9. Comfort is expensive. Staying where you’ve outgrown can cost you your calling.
Discomfort = growth 📈

10. You can’t outsource the work. God moves mountains, but YOU have to pick up the shovel🪏.

11. Sobriety was STEP ZERO. Getting sober didn’t build my dream life. It gave me the opportunity to build it.

11 years later, I’m STILL doing the work. STILL raising my standards. STILL becoming. 1% better every day

All glory to God. But obedience requires ACTION. ❤️

Which one hit you the hardest?

11.01.2015 🤍

11 years!

Full disclosure: I’m not celebrating because I haven’t had a drink or a Dr❄️💊g in 11 years. That’s the bare minimum for me.

I’m celebrating the woman I’ve become because I made that decision.

The relationships restored (love you mom and dad!my bro and sister in law) The businesses built. The lives impacted. The marriage I prayed for @straughnzyy . And most importantly, the relationship I have with Jesus.

My rock bottom wasn’t a DUI, an arrest, or some catastrophic event.

I was just TIRED.

Tired of living the same unfulfilled, sad life. Tired of making promises to myself I couldn’t keep. Tired of knowing I was capable of SO MUCH MORE but continuing to settle for less.

Deep down, I KNEW I wasn’t created to live that way.

11 years ago, I made a decision that would change the trajectory of my entire life. But making the decision was the EASY PART.

The HARD part was showing up every single day and doing the work. Keeping promises to myself. Building discipline. Changing my environment. Getting 1% better every day, even when I didn’t feel like it.

God can move mountains, but I still have to pick up the shovel🪏.

And I’ve been picking it up every day for 11 years. Still def a work in progress 🙏

I had no idea what God would build through that 1 decision.

Sobriety was step zero. It gave me the opportunity to become the woman God created me to be. The daily work is what helped me get here.

For those still struggling, you’re 1 decision away from a completely different life. Seriously. Today could be your day 1 or “one day”.. you choose 🫶

If He can do it for me, He can do it for you!

ALL GLORY TO GOD. 🙌🏼❤️

Not all exhaustion 🫩comes from working too hard.

Sometimes it comes from living a life that no longer aligns with who God is calling you to become.👀

You can be successful, financially secure, have everything you once prayed🙏 for, and STILL feel completely drained. 🤔

I know because I’ve been there. Recently. Even at 10 yrs sober ..

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Hard work doesn’t scare me. Wasting my life building something I’m no longer called to scares me. I built a multi million dollar business that helped others and truly was making an impact but God showed me after 8 long dedicated years, He was calling me to a new season. Walking away from something I poured my heart and soul into wasn’t easy. But just because God called me to build it doesn’t mean He called me to stay there forever.

Sometimes you’re not tired because you’re doing too much. You’re tired because you’re fighting to maintain a life you’ve already outgrown.

Don’t confuse being comfortable with being called.

Im curious: Have you ever felt God calling you away from something you worked so hard to build? I’d love to hear your story.👇

Unpopular opinion but I’ll say it …Discipline isn’t just physical. It’s spiritual.

You can’t pray for discipline and keep choosing comfort.😬😬😬😬

Honor God with what He’s entrusted to you. 🔥#stewardship

Save this for the days you don’t feel like showing up.

Santorini, you were unforgettable. 🇬🇷🤍

Exploring this breathtaking island with my Queens and @liveoutloudbrooke and my amazing hisband, sailing ⛵️the Aegean on a catamaran, celebrating one of our girls getting baptized, and hiking the famous caldera trail (TWICE)!

Outside of the incredible food (seriously, how is it soo good?) my favorite part was hands down the hike!

6.5 miles along the ridge of a volcanic caldera, breathtaking views, challenging terrain, and even a sweet pup we befriended and named “Queen Oia.” 🐶

First hike with the Queens: 4.5 hours of exploring, laughing, and soaking it all in.

The next morning, I took @straughnzyy on the same hike. Except I got us lost trying to take a “shortcut.” 😂 Thankfully, my husband has a better sense of direction and turned us around before my brilliant idea became a rescue mission.

Two hikes. Two very different adventures. 😂

Incredible friendships, unforgettable memories, and constant reminders of how magnificent God’s creation really is. Still cannot believe this is my life !! I’m the most blessed 🥹

Shout out to @cocoonthego for making THE BEST stuff for girls like me ! Outside of it being so comfortable and super cute, it was PERFECT for these long hikes AND also looks great ! If you haven’t tried @nicolecbowyer’s COCO line… RUN🏃‍♀️!! I promise you will not regret it !

Santorini, we will 100% be back !! 😘
