Sometimes I have to take a step back and remind myself just how much we’ve built. 🥹 From creating content in my spare time to building a career and business around something I genuinely love. I couldn’t be more grateful for every client, every opportunity and every brand that trusts me with their content.☁️🏹 November is already looking VERY busy and we’re getting close to fully booked for the month! For any last-minute festive campaigns or content requests, please get in touch at ugc@sociallylils.com 🤍 You know I will ALWAYS say yes to a haircare brief! 💇🏼‍♀️ Getting to work with brands like Remington, creating content around products I genuinely love using and bringing campaigns to life is one of my favourite parts of this job. A little reminder that I really do love what I do. 🤍 Still pinching myself that this is my job sometimes! Working on a collaboration like Just Eat x Greggs was such a pinch-me moment. From helping bring creative concepts to life to attending shoot days and working alongside the wider team to deliver a huge giveaway campaign. These are the kind of projects that remind me how much goes on behind the scenes of content creation, and I LOVE being part of it. Getting paid to do my makeup and create content with brands like Sculpted by Aimee? Younger Lils would genuinely be BUZZING. 🥹 I think one of the best things about this career is getting to work with brands that you would have been buying and using anyway. A little reminder to that girl who started creating content with absolutely no idea where it could take her. 🤍 Attending brand events and shoot days to capture content for names like Müller and Myprotein will never not feel surreal. There’s so much more to being a content creator than filming a video and sending it over. Getting to be on location, meet teams, meet other creators and capture the energy of a campaign and be part of the bigger picture is something I never take for granted. More of this, please! 🥹 One of the biggest perks of this job is building genuine, ongoing relationships with brands you already know and love. From creating silly little videos in my bedroom to delivering content creation courses at Wella World Studios… someone pinch me ??!!🥹🤍
Sometimes I genuinely ask myself, how on earth did I get here?! And then I remember… this is what can happen when you take a risk, put yourself out there and go after something you really want😭✨
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of heading to Wella World Studios in London to deliver the Level 3 Content Creation course alongside @biglittlecontent and @benlifton for Wella Professionals.
We covered everything from: 🎬 Creating scroll-stopping product videos
📱 My tips and tricks for shooting UGC content that brands actually want to repost and share
✨ How to film and edit videos like a creator
📖 Storytelling techniques to make your content stand out
🤳 Hands-on experience creating content that professionals can take away and put into practice themselves.
The aim was to help professionals create content that attracts brands, elevates their social media presence and showcases their expertise.
One of the biggest things I teach? Stop thinking like the brand and start thinking like the creator. 👏🏼
Getting to share what I’ve learnt from working in the UGC industry and help others build their own content creation skills is something I’m SO passionate about. And moments like this remind me exactly why I started. 🥹

a day of doing what we do best…. creating content for brands☁️✨ #ugccontentcreator #ugccontentcreators #ugcuk #ukcontentcreator #ugcukcontentcreator by @sociallylils
Moral of the story? POST THAT CONTENT. 🤍 Stop waiting until you feel confident enough, have the perfect niche, more followers or the most aesthetic feed… You figure out what works by actually showing up🏹 Put yourself out of your comfort zone, say YES to posting content, showing up daily… and remember your dream collabs are waiting☁️
Your first post doesn’t have to be perfect. Your personal brand doesn’t have to be fully figured out. You just have to start.🫶🏼 #ugccontentcreator #ugc #ugcuk #ukcontentcreator #ugcjourney by @sociallylils
I’m saying... YES ❤️ @virginred @virgin
Saying the BIGGEST YES yet! ✈️❤️ This is my application to become Virgin’s next Head of Yes! From taking a leap of faith and building my own business from scratch, to turning my passion into my career and saying yes to opportunities that have taken me places I never imagined… I’ve learnt that some of life’s best moments happen when you just say YES. 🥹
So, @richardbranson … I’ve brought you a brew, done my research, and I’m ready to say my next YES. ☕
@christomkins1 … are you ready to pass the baton?❤️
If you’ve watched me build all of this, I’d LOVE your support in getting this in front of Virgin. Leave a ❤️ in the comments!
