I see too many creators and business owners get completely burnt out with content.

Cause fair.

There's so much to do and something you're doing it 100% alone so it feels like this endless rat race of doing.

✋ so stop doing it. Lean ALL THE WAY into what you're good at and what you enjoy doing and work on everything else.

For those who are good on video - we love that for you but I know, you know, that you have different problems. From editing to getting frustrated with yourself when you have to do more than 1 take of a video and then before you know it you're completely and totally gassed out and don't forget you still have to write a caption.

This is why when I work with my clients, its not just about building you a content calendar, identifying content pillars, and teaching you how to hold your phone for the best angle. Hello my lovelies. Samantha here, I’ve earned my 35 years on this planet. And as it spins once more around the sun. I can’t help but have this feeling of, this is where I’m supposed to be. This is the work I’m supposed to be doing.

I’ve been doing digital marketing for over a decade now. I’ve worked with 100s of creators, businesses, festivals, and events bring their vision to life in the digital space.

What this new era is for though, is creating an experience that is beyond what I originally had intended because I am no longer living in someone else narrative of me. I’m no longer watering myself down to make it more digestible for the masses.

This era of Samantha Grobler is about being, becoming, and intention. It’s about sharing my story, my lore through the things I love and enjoy.

When you learn to fill up your own cup, you can fill up other’s cup.

I’ve been in digital marketing for what it seems like countless lifetimes, evolutions and seasons of myself. And I fill never not want to work with content creators and business owners create. I live and LOVE to fill up my communities cups.

I live for this work because I get to see you grow. I have the privilege to watch you evolve on your journey. And I am truly and deeply honoured whenever a client chooses to work with me. I see it as teaching someone how to make their prefect cup of coffee / tea / hot beverage. We get to learn what you love, why you truly love it, and how we can make it uniquely your own.

Then we do the hard thing. YOU do the hard thing and start actually making it. I’m there. I’m mentoring. I’m watching, I’m not letting you burn yourself. But I’m also letting you discover on your own. Maybe instead of a coffee, you like matcha but you want to mix it with a custom chai. Maybe you want just a little bit more cinnamon. Maybe you want to try it with a vanilla syrup.

Here's the thing that bugs me about most marketer's when they say they are "data-forward";

they look at data like "oh number gets bigger and up and to the right? YYAYY!" 🙈

No. Just because numbers are "getting bigger" and moving "up and to the right" means ultimately very little. Your focus shouldn't be on the numbers themselves but how they got there.

Of course, we all want to see the numbers get bigger. Growth can absolutely be a good thing. But are you ready to grow? Are you ready to have that "viral" moment"? And if you aren’t ready to answer those questions maybe now isn't your season of growth.

See data can also be used to figure out what you need to solve IN your business. Maybe your problem isn't growth or traffic - maybe it's something on your website. Maybe its the middle of your funnel.

Context of your data matters. Think about bigger picture stuff. Think about small details. You can get a lot of great direction and clarity from your data. by @iamsamanthagrobler

What we want to present vs what is the normal

Let’s kick the “NEED TO BE PREFECT AND AESTHETIC” to the curb (okay… some industries are the exception).

Cause you don’t NEED to be perfect for people to enjoy your content. We are in the era and movement of authenticity and people actually wanting to RELATE to the influencer and content creators they are following.

We want the messy, we CRAVE the authentic. So let all go and see what happens. I purposely picked a photo that I don’t particularly like (I’ve lost so much weight since my last shoot so it’s been a struggle to use them now).

These are definitely some of FAQ asked questions I get some potential clients and people (in general) who are looking for advice on content creation.

I'm never surprised when I get these questions and here's why;
1️⃣ If I'm being a good influence on someone, I should be asking more questions to better understand their challenge
2️⃣ There's certain things that I absolutely stand for in my industry (digital marketing / social media) and I will NOT move on them
3️⃣ A lot of great marketing advice is kind of timeless. It's why we preach a lot of the same things. Consistency (even though there's more than just posting consistently), engaging with your community, understanding what your ICAs root desires are, etc.

I wrote this carousel - 6+months ago and decided not to make any edits. Because I believe that all of it still holds true.

Remember, that you need to embrace the creator you are and lean ALL the way into your strengths of creation. You don't need to be everywhere, you need to not burnout when you're half way up the mountain of becoming a full time content creator.

OH a tale as old as time - truly as certain as the sun.

I've had pretty much every single client and business I've worked with say almost word for word the same thing

"Why do you write me better than I write me?"

Truth is - I don't. No one (and I mean NO ONE) can write you better than you can. What most people truly struggle with is the ability to listen to that inner voice that they have inside. There are so many distractions and opinions that we listen to everyday. It's no wonder that you inner voice might not be as loud.

So I give the same piece of advice to all my clients. Journal. About. Anything.

And I mean anything. Spend 2 minutes (do it on a timer to start) every weekday and just write. About anything or "nothing" of consequence. It doesn't have to mean anything deep. Just write. No expectations, no end result other than just the "doing" of it.

That's how you start listening and hearing that voice inside. You'll find that the more you do it, the more you'll want to do it and the easier it will become.

Suddenly that 2 minute timer will be too fast and you'll start turning it off.

And you'll surprise yourself on what you have to really say about everything. There's so much good that comes from the practice of journaling that I feel like I could talk about it endlessly.

Fortunately for y'all I have about 200 more characters. Which I will use for this...
