These women spend so much of their lives serving their communities. This night was an invitation to sit, soften, and be served. To remember who they are beneath the uniform, the responsibility, and the roles. To let love in. Our Women Over Dinner for women in law enforcement was filled with beautiful moments of connection, sisterhood, and remembering. What an honor to love these women through food, conversation, and space to simply be. 🤍 More to come! #womenoverdinner #womenarepower #feminine #thefutureisfeminine #womenspower by @sofiateplitzky
So many powerful voices. ✨ Some highlights from our incredible speakers at our first Women Over Dinner gala in Harlem. We gathered to celebrate the power women carry—and to bring that same nourishment, connection, and remembrance to women in prison. Thank you to these women who shared her hearts, and everyone who helped make this evening possible. Your support reaches beyond this room, into the lives of women waiting for a seat at the table. Such an incredibly beautiful night last night at our first gala for @womenoverdinner. Thank you to all who came out to support. My friend and WOD partner @aubsauce said it best — there is something so special about stewarding such a big vision into the world as women remembering that they hold the power, that they are the jewel. And bringing that remembering to women all over the world and into prisons. And then to have women who see the vision as deeply as we see it and are willing to throw themselves into the fire that it can get big enough for all women to see, to feel it, and to remember. I felt our founders @nicoledaedone and @rachcherwitzpelletier the women who have been carving the path for so many women in the room and in our hearts, my eyes were wet the whole night! #womenoverdinner #womenarepower #nygala by @sofiateplitzky

@womenoverdinner is hosting our first ever gala on October 17th. It's going to be an all out celebration in honor of the women we serve on the inside. I never thought my purpose would become so connected to incarceration, but serving those that are typically cast out and forgotten has become such a calling for me. These women who may have nothing of what we deem valuable like material possessions, but they do have natural overflowing gratitude, desire to contribute, hunger to know themselves, raw unfiltered power. And with dignity, they remember their value. Join us in an incredible evening with champagne, delicious food, live music, dancing. Let's show up for the women who are forgotten. Let's make this world one that we want to inhabit. See you there ❤️ ! #womenarepower #womenwhochangetheworld #womenspower #womenoverdinner by @sofiateplitzky
As women we are conditioned to look outside ourselves—to read the room, anticipate other people’s needs. But what happens when we learn to cultivate security within? For me, Orgasmic Meditation has been a practice of bringing my attention home to my body. The consistent 15-minute structure gives my mind a container it can learn to relax into. As my vigilance softens, I have more space to feel my desire, hunger, sexuality, and truth and to learn to express it. That is the kind of power I want more women to experience: not controlling everything around us, but developing a deeper relationship with ourselves. There’s a free, three-hour introduction to Orgasmic Meditation happening today (and it happens at least once a month). It’s designed for complete beginners - you learn the steps, the philosophy and how to get started if you desire. Message me for the details. 🤍 #OrgasmicMeditation #womenspower #meditation #desire #ErosPlatform by @sofiateplitzky
On September 17th, we hosted our 3rd Women Over Dinner at Massachusetts Correctional Institution, Framingham with 100 incarcerated women. We brought in a three-course meal, gathered around the table, and did what women do: reflected one another’s beauty, shared stories, laughed, cried, listened, and reminded each other of who we are beyond the labels the world places on us. One woman told us, “Tonight made me feel human again.” Another shared, “I didn’t feel like an inmate tonight.” This is the power of women gathering in community, bringing the nutrient of dignity and remembrance to women who are often forgotten and invisible. #womenoverdinner #womeninprison #womenspower #incarceration by @sofiateplitzky

Part One of our experience inside a women’s prison in Massachusetts last week. I am always left in awe by the beauty of these women. They are the kind of real that I often hear people they are hungry for - in their expression, in their reception, in their gratitude. #womenoverdinner #womeninprison #womenspower #incarceration by @sofiateplitzky
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Women Over Dinner and our upcoming dinner at Massachussets Correctional Institution. We are making our way to our goal for this dinner and we have more dinners on the horizon. All contributions go directly to creating these experiences for women in prison to remember their value and dignity. Had to give a moment to circulate all the gratitude I felt today✨Feeling quite rich in the ways that really matter. And grateful we get to bring that feeling inside to the women. #womenoverdinner #womeninprison #philanthropy by @sofiateplitzky
I was on a walk on @the.land.us and saw this eagle flying over me as I crossed the bridge. It reminded me of this sutra and our animal nature, majestic and wild. This is from The Language of The Body: The Ten Hungers from The Eros Sutras by @nicoledaedone and @soulmakerpress The body yearns for the hunt. An alive, devouring energy—our cellular memory of being both predator and prey—awakens inside of us. This hunger yearns to wake up in a way that is more than simply not being asleep. It wants to feel its animal self, to devour, to experience hairs standing on end, saliva in the mouth. It wants that sense of wanting to seize or be seized, to bring down or be brought down, and then to rest with it. That whole cycle exists inside of our cells. At our human foundation we are animal; the body remembers and it does so without judgment. Fundamentally, we yearn to be handled, to be taken into the maw of another so we can let go beyond our own ability to control, and to handle another in the same way. This hunger trains the attention to be radically energized, to work with power, and to experience a deep intimacy. #erossutras #hunger #womenspower by @sofiateplitzky
