one of my favorite shoots to date, thank you Sol for capturing the early essence of arcana’s world <3 I can’t wait to share this soundscape and universe with you all

to all my newer folks here, hi!!!
thanks so much for following along my journey🥹 many of you I’ve met recently either on the dance floor or the runway, so allow me to introduce you to my soul, arcana <3
before these newer ventures in life, i actually found my love for songwriting and composing/ producing music, and have been doing so self-taught since 2019 on my phone! if you’re into any sort of electronic, r&b, house, 2000s nostalgia vibes feel free to check it out at the link in my bio! I’m excited to share this newer sound I’m getting into with you all soon🫶🏾

Medium-format film portrait for @oyastorms.

There’s nothing quite like a 6x7 negative when it comes to portraiture ❤️‍🔥

Uncle-mode reloading 🔋

Album cover photo for @otienoterry’s BLACKBERRY.

This is why I keep a camera with me at all times. A random moment outside of a studio session on a point & shoot 35mm might turn into an album cover ❤️‍🔥 by @sol.moravia

Even a 12 shot “Test Roll” on this AE1 that I “serviced” myself yielded some frames I’ll hold close 👀

Great reminder that there is nothing like the camera you started out on.

Also shout out my dawg @durkeeethan for giving me the challenge of only shooting on 28mm for a while. Long after the exercise is over, I now have a new daily driver focal length.

The day before this photoshoot, I had made a move that was both incredibly risky, but overall beneficial for my mental health. In this season of healing from a traumatic brain injury, I’ve been making moves to help elevate my crushed confidence.

One of these moves was booking a photoshoot with @sol.moravia, which truly was a gift. A super talented all around individual - I would recommend him hands down.

The day I received these photos, was the same day that I got the good news that my move was headed in the right direction, giving me a fresh start. Feeling so much relief but also immense gratitude. This photoshoot signifies such a significant chapter.

Still continuing to build my confidence and trying to believe that I am so worth it 💛 by @sol.moravia
