Houston has a lot to love, and the book culture is one of my favorites 🥰📚

Spent a lovely Saturday stopping by a few of my favs: @thebookcycleinc @kindredstorieshtx @murderbooks

Which HOU bookstore should I hit next?

If you like books by Crystal Smith Paul, Taylor Jenkins Reid, or Elizabeth Gilbert; the film Burlesque; ambitious women; the vibes of Eartha Kitt and Lena Horne; flawed love interests; family secrets; or sister stories, you’ll probably find something to like in my novel. #writergram #writingcommunity #booklover by @sola.zaina

Lived my best nerdy book Halloween life this year 🥰🎃

Halloween is almost over, but I feel like November carries the vibe of atmospheric reads, vampires, and thrillers and mysteries. Every year I try to make sure I support Indigenous authors during November, and I’m also planning a vampire binge this year.

Do you have your November TBR planned yet? #tbr #read #booklover by @sola.zaina

I’ve always wanted to write a femme fatale, so when a black widow character popped into my head, I knew I had something I could build on! 🕷️

I’m in the final third of the first draft and it will be in my agent’s hands soon! I’m going to take you guys on the journey to publication because I’m ✨claiming it✨

10 years. 3 states, 2 kids, 5 years of marriage, 15 hair colors (me), fifty-leven business ideas (you), countless compromises, ups, downs, and memories made. 10 years. 1/3 of our lives. I love you to the moon and back, more than you love pickleball, more than all the hobbies and businesses totaled up and multiplied. Thank you for the laughs, the constant support, the pushing me to be better, the introspection when it’s needed. Thank you for building for us.

10 years. And it’s just getting sweeter. I love you x10. Can’t wait to love you x20, my sun and stars 🧡

PS: thank you also for our little blood of my bloods 👧🏽👶🏽 by @sola.zaina

Use your free will to go to an independent bookstore very soon! And thank me later! 🤓

Had a great time at @readersfesthtx this year 💕📚 the plan is to be there promoting my own book next year! I think my black widow story will fit in perfectly with the vibes! 🍁📚🍂

Dinner and a movie is pretty much always my vibe. Had a great time watching #Verity with @lwabbookclub at @starcinemagrill and cackling at all the shenanigans (like the headboard, IYKYK). Will you be watching Verity?
