Alameda with @afaic.bike ☀️ by @solomonovichi

The north coast of California has become a special place to me over the past few years from long bike rides, hikes, runs, and even weddings it's solitude from everything else in the world means you can focus on yourself, the friends and family you brought with you or just take in the sights of nature. It is important we keep these places protected so that others can continue to be inspired. by @solomonovichi

After procrastinating on many rides I finally decided to make my way to the top of mount Tam a few months ago. Usually you reach a fork in the road that starts taking you down the mountain to warmer climates or you can go another 3 miles up where it gets windy and cold. At this point in the ride your usually about 45mi into it. It was a clear day and photo really doesn't do it justice but it was great to see the watch tower which is typical shielded by clouds. by @solomonovichi

I'm a few days post op getting my collar bone fixed up! While I'm laid up for the next few weeks it's great to remind yourself why you love getting out on the bike. I got this shot on one of the amazing morning loops in Berkeley where you can ride up over the marine layer that encases SF 🌫️ @justthetipsf by @solomonovichi
