Every time a new season arrives, I find myself thinking it’s my favourite. Until the next one comes along.

But autumn, with all its beautiful colours, makes a pretty convincing case. 🍂

Autumn in the Eifel National Park.

Eifel, Germany · 2026 by @somewhere.sometime_pk

I kept finding new reasons to stop and take another photo. The Rhine, the beautiful old houses, the church, the little details along the streets… Bacharach has so much charm packed into such a small town.

Color changes what we see. Its absence changes what we feel.

Köln, 2026 by @somewhere.sometime_pk

Not the Cologne most people come looking for.
No cathedral, no postcard view — just lines, windows, reflections and the quiet geometry of a city I’m still learning to read.

I remember the colours here more than anything.
The green of the water, the blue of the sky, the mountains, the reflections — everything felt so alive, but still so calm.

I think what I loved most was how calm and beautiful everything felt here.

The lake, the mist, the mountains, the houses by the water — all of it seemed to belong together, without trying too hard.

Cote D’Azur - France, 2026 by @somewhere.sometime_pk

Sometimes life is so simple. All we have to do is enjoy it.

Warm streets, soft light, slow steps, and that quiet Côte d’Azur feeling — the kind that reminds you to breathe, look around, and let the day be enough.

Sometimes life is so simple. All we have to do is enjoy it.

A little sunlight, a little sea, a beautiful town, a little time to breathe.
Côte d’Azur felt like one of those places where life quietly reminds you not to rush, not to hold on too tightly to what hurts, and not to forget the small joys waiting right in front of you.

Just to look around.
Just to be there.
Just to live.
