OPEN CALL: EXTENDED To Sept 15th. WHAT DIDN’T FALL /// Lo que no se cayó A two-day fundraising exhibition originally created in support of Venezuela. In light of the recent earthquake in Colombia, we have decided to extend the fundraiser to support earthquake relief efforts in both Venezuela and Colombia. 🧡 What Didn’t Fall begins with a simple question: When everything around you changes, what stays? Produced by @birthofvenus.productions With the help of @wethecoolstudio @projetmone______ @amor____diaz The exhibition considers the objects, memories, gestures, places, and fragments of home that continue beyond their original context / what we carry, what we leave behind, and what changes shape along the way. For this open call, we invite artists to reflect on what didn’t fall: what stayed with you, what you carried forward, or what found a new way to exist. Painting · Photography · Textile · Objects · Paper · Sound · Video · Installation · Sculpture · Mixed Media · Performance · Design · Furniture Priority will be given to Venezuelan & Colombian artists, while the open call remains open to artists from around the world who are currently based in NYC. Donations will be made to organizations in Venezuela and Colombia supporting earthquake relief efforts. Application closes September 15th at midnight EST. Apply via the link in bio. by @somos.arthouse

EXCITING NEWS! Apply via the link in bio. What began as a two-day fundraising exhibition in support of Venezuela and was later extended to support earthquake relief efforts in Colombia as well, is now growing. Art that lives rent free in my head. Gilberto Ortega aka El Infeliz has become one of my favorite artists and humans to have political, social and art conversations with. His work usually caricatures different political figures while expressing the ugliness we carry as a human race. Not to criticize for the sake of criticism, but to create awareness. His art is sometimes hard to look at, uncomfortable even, but I think that’s entirely the intention… Where we don’t want to look is usually where we need to look closer. Honored to be representing some of his pieces in nyc. 🧡 by @somos.arthouse
During Mi Casa, Tu Casa Exhibition, we hosted our first Art Listening Sessions, an intimate gathering of sound, conversation, and shared presence within the exhibition at @cheznous.art What began as a moment of listening became an extension of the work itself: a space to slow down, connect, and experience art through another layer of feeling and exchange. This marks the beginning of a new initiative we’re excited to continue building, creating more spaces where art, sound, and community can come together in meaningful ways. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening 🧡 Stay connected for future sessions.
