fulana has done it again with her latest release "Reprobate". This new track is a certified hit that perfectly showcases her unique sound and talents as a musician, From the opening notes, "Reprobate" captivates the listener with a catchy beat that is impossible not to sit and focus on what’s happening, delivering her best vocals and lines to date. fulana's electronic production is top-notch, blending subtle synth sounds with awesome basslines and drumbeats that complement her vocals perfectly. However, it's not just the sound of the track that makes it stand out. The lyrics in "Reprobate" are thought-provoking and nuanced, exploring obsessive-toxic love themes. fulana's introspective, almost confessional style of writing is captivating and relatable, and she delivers the lines with conviction and emotion that are entirely genuine. I am your cyanide I am wrestling in your sheets The smoke within your lungs Won't you come along now I am your pure denial The ignorance in your mind Whenever I walk by When I come along now Overall, "Reprobate" perfectly showcases fulana's talents, blending infectious beats with well-crafted lyrics that pack an emotional punch. It's a standout track that's sure to earn her plenty of new fans and cement her status as one of the most exciting new artists in electronic pop music in the region and soon internationally if she keeps it going. I can't recommend this song enough. by @sonic.vault
@mzubailah is one of the reasons why the indie music scene in Saudi Arabia in particular and the Gulf music scene, in general, is alive and kicking, is he the torch holder of what It called the new generation of music rebellious? Enlightening the path to others to be courageous enough to take a leap and stray away from the ordinarily sound and try something out of the usual box, the answer absurdly is, YES, I  I’m too far from being an expert in the Saudi indie scene, can’t think of anyone else rather than Malik for being crazily active with 3 awesome bands with 3 kinda different direction, he brilliantly handling his duties with no short of delivering, this man is with a mission to accomplish, music releasing machine, what is kinda laughable here is the quality of his releases, IT’S  TOP NOTCH! As I mentioned earlier, he isn’t afraid of plunging into something new and probably with zero market share, but is it really matter to him? I would love to ask him this question, maybe one day when we met, what’s your major drive? Sorry for the very long introduction but I’ve had to say it, now what about Statues of Sinking Men’s latest release, Al Sa’aa Al Oula, my first impression was WOW BIG TIME! I’m not here to dissect the song but to pass on my impression and what I think, it’s strange the noticed maturity that Malik went through when it comes to his writing and composing ability, don’t get me wrong, I’m in love with songs like Gorgeous Day in Hell, I probably played it for thousands of times, but this is another level! It’s like cutting the chase down, right to the point, the sounds that have been chosen to embellish the piece were really good, it’s anymore experimental neither harsh nor pushing you to the edge, I love that feeling though but here I’m at ease, listening with a smile on the face, melodically driven, vocals were calm and in control of the song, take up there and throw you back in despair, synth sound profile was a perfect pick for the song. Thank you @mzubailah and @wallofsoundsa by @sonic.vault
I had the privilege of seeing Gimmix, I was blown away by the performance, their energy was contagious and their moves were mind-blowing. I left the gig with a smile on my face, the small gig was awesome and we all had a great time. I downloaded ‘Dance on Fire’ their debut album, I should have done this back in January when it released but I caught up on many different silly things! listened to it while I was alone at home. I felt really sad because the music wasn't as exciting or even worth listening to when it was just me in my room, weird isn’t? Gimmix- Dance on Fire is the perfect example of high school boys’ band that have no clear musical identity but a collection of different sounds, vary from punk to pop. They write upbeat and catchy songs that will have you humming immediately but you will forget them mins after, honestly speaking, it’s a bit boring and doesn't have much depth to it, there's nothing ground-breaking about what they do, if you're expecting a fresh and innovative game, you should turn away now. It's a tired clone of Flappy Bird but with a pop twist that lacks any type of originality, Dance on Fire to be severely disappointing. The mixing is a disaster! The treatment of drums and vocals were a bit bad, it did injustice to the whole album, is everything dark? Certainly no! Bright sides: they are too young! They have unbelievable future ahead of them if they focused on finding the right identity rather than shopping different genres, their stage presence is probably their main strength, they know how to put a good engaging show, they easily can get you in, the electrifying mastermind behind Gimmix Abdullah is defintely a man with a mission and he can play a big part in the emerging Saudi indie scene, just little focus on where to go. One last thing, the album's cover is well done, the colors, the idea and the details are super notch, I'm sold! @gimmixband @abdullahdhamin #gimmixband #gimmix #indierock #alternativerock #saudiband #saudirock #khobar by @sonic.vault
I was very excited when I heard that Cheen is collaborating with Molotof to rejuvenate an old favourite and make it feel new, ‘Aba’ad Makan’ was an anathematic song in high school and back then, the original song was the best, it has helped me get through really tough times and it always manages to make me feel better. It's one of the few tracks you can listen to over and over again without starting to get bored. The production is super underground, but who cares and who did care back then? I can't tell you how many times I've listened to ''Aba’ad Makan'' on repeat! it’s been so many years and now we have Cheen ft Molotof doing a re-mix which is so different from the original, upon the 1st listen, I thought the life has been sucked out of this song. It's not bad, it's just not what you would expect from a collaboration that was created to get people back into a true indie legendary song! it does feel like they're chasing after what's popular now instead of staying true to their own sound, probably around the 7th time when I started to feel like the original feelings were there! It somehow camouflaged by the very electronic synth direction, well, yeah, a new life been injected, and it felt like the song has aged and this is how it sounds! It still nostalgic and brings back so many memories of my childhood, but the song is also exciting and new. One thing still can’t get over it, no matter how many times I press the repeat button, which is the GUITAR!  the guitar in it is just so unnecessary to have. What's with that? It seems like it was only put there for the sake of being there, it added nothing to the song, and sounded like someone inexperienced playing, nevertheless, This is a must-listen if you're in need of a good, electronic indie tune! It's a dilemma how an anathematic song like ''Aba’ad Makan'' can still echoing with people. @cheenmusic @molotofmusic #cheen #molotof #indiemusic #electronicmusic #remixed #review #songreview by @sonic.vault
I really like the idea of releasing new songs at midnight! The only downside is that I’m picky when it comes to what music I listen before bed, was it wise enough to stream new Kali-B, NBL and Ntitled new song ‘011’ meaning that I’m risking my mood wither it will be ruined or I will sleep with big smile upon my face, neither of it happened! If you're looking for a song that doesn't move too much, then ‘001’ is the best one out there. It has a really catchy tune, but it's not too mind-blowing either, I felt like the song been produced and played very safe, it’s a song that still in the middle refusing to make any big moves or taking any risks, It's always waiting to be something better and bigger but it stands still, don’t get me wrong in here, the song is enjoyable after all, it can be on repeat all day long. what does 2022 hold for the Saudi rap scene? Grab your popcorn and be ready for a big thrill! @kalii_b @ntitledonthebeat @nabiladili @kapital.records #saudirap #kalib #ntitled #001 #2022 #2022releases #single #fridayrelease #saudihiphop # by @sonic.vault
You know that feeling when you're watching a cool movie and then the credits start rolling, and the song that's been playing in the background throughout the movie starts to make a lot more sense? That's what Temp Job's song "Toot Barry" does. It's a really catchy tune about an illusory dream-like love, but it leaves you with a bittersweet that tackles every busting out sensation in you, I listened to the song no less than 10 times (would Anghami pays for this?), Toot Barry is a spotless song, where every note been perfectly crafted and placed, the vocals will haunt you, they are so hauntingly beautiful. And the ghostly effects deliver every word as if it had been tried to be said, few artists have come up with an exceptional debut song it’s every musician's nightmare! they always look to replicate rather to innovate, hope Temp Job don’t fall into this trap, the hype over the song is real, It's been a while since I've been so enthusiastically moved by a song, thanks Temp Job for the release, wondering what would be the next song? @nadine.aif @wallofsoundsa @anghami #tempjob #wallofsoundrecords #indiemusic #indiesaudi #newrelease #newartist #debutsong #anghami #songreview by @sonic.vault
