A dystopian sonic picnic for “wish you were here” exhibition at UCL East - an exhibition that aims to start difficult conversations around the climate. “Wow the weather is amazing let’s have a picnic!” “Hmmm the water looks like oil” “it’s climate change babe.” 💚💚💚🫣 exhibition with @laurachops @up._.at._.dawn @louiseashcroft1 with support from @ucleastengage and the amazing @rivkacockerphoto Open all month to coincide with London Climate Action Week 💥 by @sonic_healing_
Sonic healing will be in session on Saturday 27th June between 4-8pm @hyphastudios for Call Incoming… Curated by @haydndoesart (thanks for inviting us!) the exhibition takes its cue from the playground game “Telephone”, where a whispered message morphs each time it’s passed along. 📞📞📞📞📞📞📞📞 Made up entirely of new, bespoke works, the inception of this show began with a piece by curator Haydn Albrow, whose work was shared confidentially to the next artist to reinterpret in their own style and medium before they passed their piece onto another. The chain continues artist by artist, culminating in an exhibition that reveals how a single artwork can evolve, distort, and transform through multiple creative voices. As each piece morphs through medium, material, and theme, the show celebrates the diversity of the featured artists’ interpretive lenses. While the Telephone Game is often a byword for inaccuracy or a cumulative error caused by the spread of information, “Call Incoming…” stands as a celebration of evolution of a message through interpretation and translation. In a world of polarised discourse and remote communication where tone and nuance are so often lost in restrictive formats, “Call Incoming…” also questions our tendency to assume we have all the information we need to make a judgement – will the artwork at the end of the chain bear any resemblance to the initial piece? A graphic score and track from the sonic healing archive. Lost and Found was an exhibition and experiment in collaboration. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ A kind of collaboration relay initiated by @keelertornero KT with @laurachops and @firestationsband - it began with a print of two “wizards,” by KT, hacked by Laura - who Screen printed over it to create a graphic score, that was then sonically interpreted and burned to tape using field recordings with @firestationsband (and tape burning help from @theleaflibrary) KT then listened and made another image in response. Image image tape image You can listen via SoundCloud via Objects Forever @theleaflibrary who kindly released the track. by @sonic_healing_

Sonic Healing - from the archive Volume 1: Dream Analysis by @sonic_healing_
Sonic healing from the archive We posted dream questionnaires to healies. We received 13 dreamers dreams. We read their responses and and projected their dream images in the studio - each kick started a jam documented in this tape and zine. We hope our sonic response add something to the unconscious gift the dream has offered! by @sonic_healing_
