Stone becomes textile in Guerrera Águila Agave (2026).

Based in Mexico City, Carla Qua brings ancestral knowledge into conversation with contemporary textile practice. This textile collage draws on the Mexica-influenced Art Deco reliefs of the city’s YWCA building, carrying their forms into a softer, more fragile material.

Through natural dyeing and experimental processes, her work connects art, design and craft with knowledge passed between generations.

An everyday moment can hold a story, a memory or a feeling that stays with us.

Colombian artist Bleydis Narvaez explores that emotional weight through oil painting and ceramics. Based in Torrent, Valencia, her practice develops through independent learning, curiosity and experimentation.

In her figurative paintings, colour and composition express what words cannot always capture. Each scene invites a pause, encouraging viewers to look beyond what is depicted and connect with the feeling it carries.
