Some flugel from about a month ago at @sydneycon First Nations music showcase … such a pleasure to play with these talented guys! Honoured to perform original music as well as a cheeky @_seanmason tune that represents a fight for humanity and human expression. Super special to have a dedicated night to First Nations musicians and to see the breadth of musicians studying at the Con. Sovereignty never ceded❤️💛🖤 tHuge thanks to @ciannawalker for putting this together x

~ Sydney Con First Nations showcase evening!! ~

Come along for a joyous celebration of some of us mob students at the con. This lineup features a wide range of musicians (approx 1% of the con students), so it would be an honour to see you there celebrating our people. Modern innovation of culture and connection from our lived experience, created through music.

I will be playing with Oscar Lubbock, Alex Parsa and Nate Griffin. Blink, and you will miss the tunes! Music will be from 6:30 pm on Friday 11th September. Tickets in bio 🎺🌞🤎 @oooooscar_ @alexdamon.p @nategdrums by @sophiatrumpet

16th at Curtains Jazz Club
29th Customs House ☺️ by @sophiatrumpet

It's the final month of Thursday Night Jazz, and there's no better way to spend the last of winter than with live jazz, pizza and a glass of wine.

Throughout August, we're welcoming Sophia Rose, an incredible local trumpet player, alongside Nate Griffin on drums every week. Each Thursday they'll be joined by a different pianist, making every performance a little different while staying true to the soulful, laid-back atmosphere that has made Thursday nights at Franco so special.

Performances begin from 6:30pm every Thursday in August, with two sets and a short break in between. No matter what time you book, you'll enjoy live music throughout your dinner.

Book early to secure the best seats at the bar or main dining room. But wherever you're seated, you'll still hear and enjoy the music throughout the restaurant.

Bookings are now open online! 🎺 by @sophiatrumpet
