✨ ‘Absolutely hilarious’

✨ ‘Kept me on my toes’
✨ ‘Poignant’
✨ ‘Great energy’
✨ ‘A really good reflection of capitalism and how we put work before different things.’

Thank you to @everytheatre for such a kind, thorough, and thoughtful review!

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Highlights:

🐾 “Any show that contains the sage advice ‘never send a selfie with a dead cat’ really can’t be wrong.”

🐾 “A charming show about grief and loneliness, told with kindness and humour.”

Not bad for a WIP debut with 200+ sound cues and a Furby co-star 🫠

More to come as Ivy + Vesper claw their way forward…

This Sunday’s performance is being postponed due to unforeseen circumstances outside our control.
(I’m looking at *you*, Vesper…)

Thank you for your support—we’ll be back with a new date soon.

my production shots for Sorry I Can’t Come Into Work, My Cat Died* by @kacefile from its first run at @canalcafetheatre

it’s coming to @etcetera_theatre_camden for another performance on November 30th! by @sorrymycatdied

From the voiceover session for one of my favourite scenes: Ivy’s HR meeting.

A conversation about trust, grief, and a cat that may or may not have been flattened by a Vespa.

Same ego. New era.

After a brief hiatus (and several LinkedIn posts about “growth”), Karl is back, and …well, he’s back.

He’s vegan now (and yes, he’ll tell you). He podcasts. He powerpoints. He reeks of Manstosterone Body Spray™.

Voiced by 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝘀, who manages to bring all that misguided self-improvement energy to life with unnerving sincerity and just the right amount of smug enlightenment.

Had the pleasure to film this for @kacefile and they’re now performing again at the @etcetera_theatre_camden in November 🙌✨

🐈‍⬛ Vesper would come, but she’s busy being dead (allegedly). by @sorrymycatdied

🎂 Birthday month! Instead of pretending to want gifts I don’t need, I’m raising funds to professionally film the industry preview of my solo show:

🎭 “Sorry I Can’t Come Into Work. My Cat Died.”

The recording will help me share the show with producers, programmers, and funders ahead of Fringe 2026 - and forever immortalise this Furby-induced madness.

If you fancy helping me offset filming costs (or just want to buy Vesper a load of Dreamies), link’s in my bio 💀🐈‍⬛

Every bit helps. Theatre’s expensive. Cats are demanding. Send help. 🙃 by @sorrymycatdied

Fresh from a rehearsed reading of the New & Improved Draft™ at @cockpittheatre! Now featuring: Lust Lagoon and Manstosterone™.

Vesper’s going to be unbearable after this.

Huge thanks to @loveagoodplay for the kind words!

✨ “Such a lovely show that deftly walks the thin line between comedy and pathos… provoking us to laugh through our sadness and tears. KC’s acting is just phenomenal.” ✨

That was night one. Night two = tomorrow.
