Stay close to the people who feel like sunshine

Be around the people who make you feel like you can truly be yourself. The ones who bring out your playful spirit and make you feel safe enough to just be.

You know those people you just can’t quite leave. The ones where you lose track of time because you’re so completely in your own little bubble together. They’re your people.

And if you’re not sure about someone, notice how you feel after you’ve spent time with them. Do you feel happy, calm, excited, energised and more like yourself? Or do you feel drained, heavy, anxious or like you’ve had to shrink a little?

Your body usually knows🤍 by @soulandwild_

If we don’t take the time to look after ourselves, we can’t really expect others to know how to love us well either.

And maybe part of looking after ourselves is learning to love all of us. The lumps, the bumps, the birthmarks, the stretch marks, the scars, the bits we’ve spent years trying to hide & cover. The parts we felt ashamed of. They’re all part of our journey. Little reminders of where we’ve been, what we’ve lived through and the stories our bodies carry.

Every single bit of us deserves to be loved. Not just the bits society deems to be attractive or appealing, but every single part of us.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you you’re not beautiful. Hold your power, you absolutely ARE.

💛 heart calls 🧡 by @soulandwild_

This place helps me believe again.

There is something about being in the water here that holds a different kind of magic. Whether I’m surfing, bodyboarding, swimming, or simply dipping my toes into the sea, it stirs something I can’t quite put into words. It’s deeply healing.

There’s a reason I’ve been coming back here for over twenty years. I’ve travelled to so many beautiful places, but nothing ever quite touches my soul in the same way.

This place reminds me who I am. It makes me feel brave again. It opens me up to new experiences, to learning, to hope, to love… and to the quiet belief that anything is possible.

🪩 FLOW AFTER DARK 🪩

Reformer x DJ

Friday 23rd October
6:30pm to 8pm
FLOW Reformer Studio, Bingham
£32 including a glass of fizz or soft drink

The lovely Jess will be taking you through a special Reformer session while I bring the music, taking you from deep house, through some proper party house bangers, before bringing you back down with chilled Ibiza vibes.

All abilities welcome, although some Reformer experience is recommended as the studio will be darker and the energy a little higher than a usual class.

Come move, giggle, dance and finish the night with a drink and good people.

Spaces are limited. Book through the link in bio.

Sunday I step into my 50s and I'm more certain than ever that age, in terms of years, has very little to do with how you feel. Your energy, your outlook, and the story you tell yourself matter far more.

I feel more playful, curious, alive, and at ease in my own skin now than I did decades ago.

I've always had a wild soul. I've never been particularly interested in fitting neatly into boxes, routines, or following routes that didn't make sense to me. I've always preferred to find my own way, trust my instincts, and do what feels right for me, living life with kindness, grace, and truth. And I truly think that keeps me younger than my number.

I'm deeply grateful for the people who have shared parts of this journey with me. Some have walked beside me for years, others for only a chapter, but all have left their mark.

Some connections I will never forget. They felt so otherworldly that they’ve stayed with me in a way nothing else has, imprinted deeply in my mind, heart, and body.

Every experience, every connection, has shaped me into who I am now. The blessings, the lessons, all part of it. I’m grateful for it all

Thank you for your part
