This is a call to humanity…🗣️

My latest spoken word. Please share if you feel called but more importantly, use your voice 🎤

#spokenword #poetry #soulchats by @soulchatscb

‘It makes no sense that we’ve lost our humanity’ 🤍

Long time coming. A spoken word I’ve been writing all year. Now feels like the right time to share. Hope it resonates.

#soulchatscb #spokenword #poetry #speakyourtruth by @soulchatscb

I wrote this after I went to the park for the first time and ended up at an open mic that sparked some inspiration. Written from the heart, it came very easily - I hope it resonates in some way to some people and if it does plz share away💛🌻💛 by @soulchatscb

for real, my brain when I try to do any normal task sends me on journeys to the unknown if I don’t put something on my laptop or listen to a podcast to help me focus 🫠

I cannot cook in silence 🌝

Autumn sun on my face whenever I can 🌞

Barefoot on the ground all year round 🍁

Non-negotiable 🫶🏻

The sky is chem trails galore but I believe the Sun is one of the most powerful forces in nature if not the most powerful so we’ll be fine (as long as the sun stays shining). 🌸

A message from 2023 me to 2026 me.

Wow, scrolling through my camera roll I came across a video I recorded of myself coming out of a darkkkkk overstimulated moment. I remember it clearly. Jack had to come home from work because I was struggling.

I never shared the full video but it feels so real for me now that I had to share.

I said I was documenting it to remind myself of the message and thank God I did 🥰

My puffy eyes from crying, and my period pants drying over the shower are my fave parts xo

Past me, I love you, from future me 🫶🏻

Long one but if you’ve got 3 mins to listen it might help you too.

Spoiler - it’s all about balance.

‘Hippie Dippy’ mum things:

1. My children are not jabbed

I fully believe in the freedom of CHOICE and informed consent. I declined all in pregnancy and both my girls have received none of the ‘recommended’ doses. They have never seen a doctor and we only use homeopathy or naturopathic remedies. (If you want to know why, you can always message me).

2. I ‘freebirthed’ my second baby.

I chose to stay out of the system as I believe on the whole it is actively harming mothers and babies, all by design. (There are some amazing midwives who I know and love but ‘not all midwives’ doesn’t cut it). There is SO much that goes into choosing this path. A CHOICE, and although I don’t advocate for all women free-birthing, I do advocate for CHOICE.

3. I use low tox/organic products on their skin, in their bodies and in my home.

Just look at the ingredients and decide whether it’s worth it for your family. I have also not used a microwave in 4 years - we don’t even own one. I aim for an 80/20 mindset. 80% low tox with room for life to be life.

VS

NON ‘Hippie Dippy’ things:

1. I let them have screen time

Shock HORROR - I actually let them watch TV. I try to limit it, I’m always mindful of what they watch. They don’t own an ipad but they absolutely do have screen time. Oh and my 4 year old plays on her dad’s playstation.

2. They have what we call ‘treat food’

Yes we try to eat a whole food, clean diet…AND they’re allowed treats. 80/20 remember.

3. We go to indoor play centres

Ok idk if this one classes as ‘non hippie’ but I struggled to find more…we do go outside a lot and I try to fill their time doing things like crafting, but I also low key don’t mind being at a play centre (always during school time when it’s not busy).

Would you class yourself as a ‘Hippie dippy’ mama? Or a bit of both?

What would you add to the list?

Reminder my Hippie Dippy Mum Club is for ALL mamas. No matter your choices, I’m here for any type of motherhood journey. It truly is easier together.
