Just a short little idea, with the message to just make something good enough!

A hole in a shed brought me back to 2005,

where the world seemed wide and endless.

Back then, time moved with the slow patience of ice,

until it thinned into the hurried breeze of today.

When more snow came, I chose the storm over the window,

to feel the cold wind rather than watch it pass.

It was then I found a tree had broken through,

piercing the shingles I set with my dad when I was ten.

It reminds me that we all have our own storms,

and the only way to find control is to face it;

maybe then, we can experience time

as when we were ten.

This is a Piano Impromptu that I created after being inspired by a snow storm and nostalgia and memories it brought me.

We often live in the future, we are focused on our goals and what we want to have but forget about what we do have and what we can enjoy now. Playing Piano has always been a reset button for me anytime it get caught up in that way of thinking. When everything in the world is after my attention, its kind of nice to do something I love and be present with it. Hope you find something to be present with as well :) by @soundtree_studio
