Thank you to the amazing runners who will be taking the course this Sunday for the @nycmarathon in support of South Bronx United!

We had an amazing crew of 15 runners who have fundraised more than $60,000 for South Bronx United’s youth and family programs. Unfortunately, the injury bug struck badly and just 8 will be taking the course Sunday with the others deferring to next year. Regardless, we will be enthusiastically cheering them all on!

If you want to support SBU and the marathon campaign, consider donating to Stephanie Roldan’s page — our SBU Academy alum who is currently studying nursing at Lehman College! Visit southbronxunited.rallybound.org/nycmarathon/stephanieroldan

One workshop. One jersey. An entire organization.

Last summer, young designers from South Bronx United created a jersey inspired by the place they call home. Now, adidas Sportswear is bringing their vision to life across an organization that reaches more than 2,000 young people throughout the South Bronx.

Created through Design FC in partnership with adidas Sportswear and Common Goal, the jersey joins House of Tiro, adidas’ global football-inspired lifestyle collection celebrating the communities shaping football culture around the world.

Show commitment, bring integrity.

For South Bronx United, those words extend far beyond the pitch. The organization supports more than 2,000 young people through academic support, college preparation, mentoring, workforce development, immigration legal services and more, using football as a vehicle for social change.

Through Design FC, and in partnership with adidas Sportswear and Common Goal, young designers from South Bronx United created a jersey inspired by the place they call home. The jersey joins House of Tiro, adidas’ global football-inspired lifestyle collection celebrating the communities shaping football culture around the world.

One jersey cannot tell every story. But across an entire organization, it can begin to show the scale of what is already in motion.
