Happy New Year! Wishing you peace, love, and many unforgettable moments.
We thank you all for your love, support and great memories made in 2025.

The year did not end as we expected. It’s been tough but we are thankful for all of the Atlanta art community. Big love to you all. by @southriverartstudios

The first photo is the community of artists that created, worked, played, laughed, cried and more at South River Art Studios before the devastating fire that occurred on the morning of November 12, 2025.

The second photo is the aftermath of what was a beautiful printmaking exhibition exhibiting 21 Atlanta artists curated by Chloe Alexander in our gallery. Every piece of artwork was damaged by water, soot and smoke from the fire.

I do not like to ask for much but if you are able and can give any amount of $$ on this #givingtuesday, please consider donating to the general SRAS Artist fund and/or the general Regional Printmakers fund. Links in bio. Many of these artists are still recovering from their loss. Thank you for your support. ❤️ by @southriverartstudios

An audience member during Liuvruh said out loud "you know, I think I could do an art show myself". Paul Byron overheard that and the answer is yes. That was the point of this whole thing. Anyone can do amazing things without any special qualifications or training or experience or a plan or funding or materials.

You can do things!
But it also helps to have really beautiful incredible friends helping. ❤️❤️❤️

And most importantly, a space like South River Art Studios has been the secret ingredient for so much magic.

Several months ago, we had the pleasure of collaborating with two incredible Atlanta artists, Matthew Evans and Linda McNeil, to design new South River Art Studios t-shirts and totes. We love how both designs turned out.

Our goal was to capture the objects or things that you would see around the studio—a vibrant, creative space full of collaboration and inspiration—and we feel these shirt designs do just that.

A huge thank-you to @mevansatl92 and @lindadmc for their amazing artistry, and to @dangerpress for their always-beautiful print work & support.

Check out our stories to see each artist’s process and be sure to give them a follow to explore more of their beautiful work.

We have a small batch of inventory left, so if you’d like to snag some swag, send us a DM! Local pickup is available, or we can chat about shipping options.

Thank you all for your support!

Studio update #2. PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE
There is still time! ⏰ Orders will close December 20, 2025!!!

The print continues to unfold—this time with a deeper sense of place.

This work is part of a fundraising effort rooted in care and collective rebuilding. As this world takes form, it carries with it the belief that art can restore, reconnect, and sustain community—especially in moments of loss.

The world is still becoming.
More layers. More meaning. More soon.

By purchasing the print, you’re supporting a collective effort to help printmakers rebuild after loss. Each print carries intention, labor, and a shared belief in sustaining one another through art.

If purchasing the print isn’t accessible right now, there are also ways to support the artists directly through individual giving links. Every contribution—at any level—matters and helps restore resources, studios, and creative futures.

Support looks different for everyone.
What matters is showing up. 💪🏾💪🏼💪🏽💪🏻

NEW SHIRT! The process of drawing the shirt I created for @southriverartstudios This design was commissioned a month before the devastating fire that happened there. South River has been such a staple in the arts community in Atlanta and has truly shaped me personally in life as an artist. I know there are so many artists deeply affected by what happened there and are still needing support rn and heart truly goes out to everyone. There are Gofundmes in @southriverartstudios bio.

For my design I decided to try to capture the essence of South River through my ongoing series “Objects Of” where I draw the object of a place from life directly to pen. This large drawing was improvised on one single sheet of paper, with a fun hand drawn font for the front of the shirt. These drawings were then exquisitely screenprinted on shirts and tote bags by @dangerpress . These shirts will be available this Saturday at the South River Market Day this Saturday 12/16 from 12 to 6. Get you one and support South River while you are at it! by @southriverartstudios
