For the first time since i’ve been listening to music on Spotify, I was excited to see my yearly recap as an artist During my junior year of high-school, I created an album highlighting artists from across Texas, giving them a platform to showcase their talent. (I really had no clue what I was doing the whole time too) I curated this album, Southside FM, with my favorite artists from the state; some i had grown close with from working with prior, and some whose music i just loved. Each individual, from Beaumont to Houston to Dallas to Austin, represented a unique aspect of the diverse Texas music scene. I grew exponentially as a creative, solely designing, directing, and compiling the visuals and songs to bring this album to life. While these numbers aren’t mind blowing or crazy to most, every little bit of interaction with this album has meant the world to me because just a few years ago I was a kid looking up to my city’s artists. Becoming peers and friends with them while creating a musical representation of our state was truly a full circle moment for me and i’m so grateful for it. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this album to life i love every single one of yall 🫀 by @southside_fm

Southside FM - April 27, 2024 Curated a mixtape of a bunch of my talented friends and artists from the state of Texas. I’m forever grateful to be from a place so rich in talent and true artistry, and this album serves as a home for my favorite artists from texas who i’m so grateful to have built connections with and gotten to work with. I always wanted to do an album like this, but because i don’t produce i figured it was impossible. Shoutout to those who helped make it not impossible tho ! From the music to the artwork, this project means the world to me and i just wanna say thank you to everybody who had a hand in the creation of this album and helped me bring this album to life, from the producers to the artists to my friends who i could go to for help.
