Be honest, would you agree that anything made by humans is the new luxury?

The pendulum is starting to swing… in this digital age where AI is taking over, we’re sensing people are craving down to earth, handmade, authentic offerings.

That’s partially why we hand infuse botanicals that we cultivate into oils, hand-making plant-infused body balms, from seed to skin.

Each and every product has been hand-poured, labeled, and cared for with intention.

Honestly, wouldn’t you rather know exactly where the plants in your skincare came from? 🌼🌿

We believe skincare should feel a little closer to nature. Less mass production, more freshly harvested herbs, slow infusions, and a whole lot of love.

Have you noticed? It makes sense when you do… Basically all the things we love = green goodness 💚

Human beings are intuitively drawn to green, in all shapes & forms. Living on the land grounds our nervous system, breathing in the fresh air, taking in the beauty of nature throughout the change of seasons…. what a gift from mother 🌍

SPADEA cultivates herbs & plans into oils, crafting botanical skincare, our most beloved creation is the Dragon Muscle Balm,
infused with Arnica & Mugwort, soothing aches & pains with the power of the plants.

Do you find yourself drawn to all things green?

First Mother & Daughter Day Retreat was a heart-warming success.

The day was spent around the fire, collecting leaves for crowns, creating fairy houses, learning how to infuse oils with botanicals, nurturing, home-cooked meals, singing together, hearing stories, and intentional time in the garden for the mamas to talk, relate & share.

The first of more to come 😍 Would you be into coming for a day retreat on this land?

Starting a new series! Learn about The Power of Plants with Mrs. Spadea 🌿

Meet Mugwort, once known as the “Mother of Herbs.” It has a long history of medicinal use, and yet these days most people think of it as an “invasive weed.” And trust us, it is! But that’s partly why we started researching how to work with its abundance!

The Power of This Plant:

* Muscle Comfort: Traditionally used for muscle tension and discomfort. Mugwort extracts have shown antispasmodic and pain-related activity in preliminary research.

* Menstrual Support: Historically used for menstrual discomfort, with antispasmodic properties studied in early research. We can attest to this from personal experience and countless feedback affirming the pain relief.

* Dreams: Commonly associated with inviting vivid or lucid dreams when keeping the dried herb near your pillow, a practice rooted in herbal folklore.

* Digestion: Traditionally steeped as a tea to support digestion and ease digestive discomfort.

* Antioxidant Properties: Contains natural compounds, including flavonoids, studied for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity.

* Moxibustion: Used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine, where processed, dried mugwort is burned to apply warmth to specific points on the body.

The list goes on… But how do we unlock these powers?

There are different traditional ways of working with mugwort, including:

* Using the herb in traditional foods and teas
* Infusing dried mugwort into carrier oils, as we do with our Dragon Muscle Balm!
* Keeping the dried herb by your pillow
* Processing dried leaves into moxa for traditional moxibustion
